Get More Done In 12 Weeks Than Others Do In 12 Months - The 12 Week Year
In this video, I'll take you through the key learnings from the 12 Week Year by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington.
This book takes you through a framework that allows you to get more done in 12 weeks than others do in 12 months. It does this by showing you a system that will enable you to stay highly accountable and focused on your goals.

One advanced tip is to combine the 12-week planning with a daily review habit, where you reflect on your progress and adjust your actions for the next day. This helps to maintain a laser focus on your goals and adapt quickly to any changes.

Totally agree. That’s probably the best way to do it, but i find it a little overwhelming. An easier way is to choose a day of the week (I chose Sunday) to reflect on what I managed to achieve the past 7 days.

@@sigma_zfunny thing I've noticed about self help videos is people can all post about the same thing, but viewers will still watch both anyways. Sometimes it's more about how they discuss it than what they're discussing. Watching the same topic multiple times can also help reaffirm it and make sure you don't forget the info

This is really clear and helpful. I love planning videos. I often feel like I have too many goals, but if I organise everything like this I can mostly fit them in!
Just started to read the book, and I suggest everyone read this book. It came at the right time, Thank you, Tim!
“Behind every impossible achievement is a dreamer of impossible dreams”. I love this because the human species wouldn’t be where we are today without people who were willing to chase the “impossible”. Think of the wright brothers for example - they had a dream of humans flying one day. Impossible right? Not with an airplane! Great video, Tim! I get the sense you won’t be a “small” creator for very much longer! The quality of this video was awesome - I’m working on getting there myself!

“Most of us have two lives: the lives we live, and the lives we’re capable of.” Wow, man. Gave me chills. Excellent video! You’re going to go far, you’ll blow up in no time!
I've been doing this for a while now, well over a year and what's helped me tremendously when getting the daily tasks down to something that was actually beneficial was this: Reverse engineering my 12 week goal into benchmarks that I need to hit each month. What benchmarks do I need to hit each week to hit the monthly ones, and then really think about the daily tasks that will get me to the weekly goal. Also, sometimes the tasks just don't work out the way I thought they would, and then it's time for me to reassess my strategies and find better ones for the rest of the year. Very sweet video indeed.
“We were on a break”. Like this
Your scriptwriting is very effective! It’s impossible to click away from your video.
I’ve recently read the 12 week year and listened on audio book. Going to implement this system starting in February. This has been the first time I have ever listened to a KZread video and broke down what was taught to execute... Most likely because this is the third major time this book has come up and I thought ... Hmm this may be a good idea. This third time I realized wowza this'll be easy I just need to follow this full break down. I listened just into the ears yesterday... And today decided. Let's break this down and follow it out. Thank you Tim

@@void1482 Thank you for taking the time to show your support! I wasted years of my life pursuing what I thought could fulfill me. I was lost as hell. I was searching for a feeling of purpose, being appreciated, being loved in many different wrong places such as career achievements, clubs, others’ opinions, etc. I worked hard for many years to graduate and have a stable high paying job and acquired most of the materialistic pursuits I’ve ever wanted but that spike of happiness didn’t last until I had enough and started to ask myself many existential questions that truly make this life matters and that’s when I got out of severe depression and actually experience how it is to be fully alive rather that being like a puppet and just let my life pass me by. So many sacrifices are needed to actually attain the authentic life I was scared of facing for so many years so that I can stay in my comfort zone but be miserable. I will be uploading videos that I hope can inspire others as well. It takes time but I will never stop

I have never read this book. However, whenever taking a professional certification exam, I give myself 12 weeks to study. I will schedule the exam three months out, then create and execute a study plan. This has been highly successful for me for almost 10 years because that "soft deadline" that seems so far away will not light the fire under your rear to do the work. So, this video really resonates with me. Subscribed.
