Get Better at Creating Contact! 4 Drills to Train Using Your Body to Score

The best players in the world have, for the most part, mastered the ability to efficiently create space by initiating contact. And this is a skill! Even if you don't naturally have it like some of them, we can build this through training! Go try these four drills and get to work!

    Using the cone is genius! For me, I find that getting really low with a wide, stable base helps me create solid contact to bump off the defense.

    This is a really great video. I used to use my elbow to create contact every-time which pissed the defender off. This video really teach me how to use contact to score efficiently and not fouling every possession when I drive. Keep up the amazing videos to help the younger generation of becoming a better basketball player every day.

    I wish I would’ve had these drills when I was young. Great way to build comfort with contact. I will way though, “pulling the chair” doesn’t happen unless you actually move your feet and get out of the way to disallow contact. #RickMahornFanForLife

    Contact physical is important on basketball cause you aint gonna get easy way open lay up or passive defender all the time, theres gonna be physical defender and people who take charge like A man this drill is helpfull for those who still new to basketball

    Tbh all these drills look like fun my car bball all we do is 3 man width which is not bad but given our team is small but like i wish chia he’s were as fun as yooo

    Been doing this since I was younger cause I was big asf lol and refs call so many fouls that you wouldn’t even feel as a foul

    All most Basketball players R way too soft.. Tell them play football 4 a year then you should be good..football teaches u 2 be aggressive wak drill
