I think his problem is that rather than being an impartial reporter (which reporters should be), he goes into every discussion with his own strong views. Whether we agree with his views or not, his job should be to let the guests share their views and moderate the discussion between the guests, rather than taking a side from the start and bashing the other. That's just not the way reporters should be.

So true..I hate rasim but went on line about a year ago.i was probery the only white lady .making sny comments and not nasty comments..I had every white nasty name under the sun from. A group of black woman...I never gave it back.. as two wrongs don't make a rt...but was shocked and one black lady stepped in with comments asking them to stop..sayings the insults as rasit . she was my Facebook friend and black she was hurt by them...I was proud of her for that but these black woman would not stop...not get reported or cared less thankfuly not all are like that but white people get it too...its just not mentioned much .

I have a multiracial family....but I swear the amount of racism that has lately been rammed down our throats when actually we are all just trying to survive in this crazy world . Is starting to make me feel racists against anyone who friggin squeeling about this day in and out!!!

I have lived in 7 countries, 6 of them not in the West. Racism existed in all of them. I lived in South Africa for decades but the worst, overt racism I encountered was in the Middle East, in the Gulf and in certain countries on the Indian sub continent. Strange that if Britiain is so racist that so many want to emigrate there and have. The last time I was in London I was with a group of doctors from Iran, Lebanon, India and Zimbabwe. I asked them why they had chosen to settle in England. The replies? 'It's peaceful here', 'It's civilised', 'Everything functions' and 'It's a loving country'.

I am Canadian. I remember when Harry and Meghan were living on an island near Vancouver. We knew they were there for months. Yes their security was pulled because our Canadian taxes were paying for their life style. It was then that they left. Their claims that no one knew they were on the island is untrue. They lost their titles. We did not or shouldn't have to pay for them. We are hard working people with real life problems.

Meghan told the truth on episode 2 :The Title Princess of Wales was to be Bestowed on Meghan. Meghan turned it down as she has full respect for Diana. This puts Kates class into question. Omid says Meghan claims she declined to be Princess of Wales out of respect for Princess Diana in memory of her. Meghan said the palace and her husband says she is the spitting image of Diana. So Meghan passed it down to Catherine. Meghan and Harry would not lie about this. I watched the whole episode. Very informative. Why would Meghan lie ? She even cried when she said that. No one can cry on cue.

When people talk about their experiences it's always 'their truth'. That's really all anyone has. Hopefully we can all work on our reconciliation skills because we all need forgiveness at some point. To be human is to be messy. Everyone turning their back on each other will not work out.

Sharon is a wonderful person. She says it how it is. She's straight forward, genuine and sincere. Absolutely love her since watching "The Osbournes" as a child. In fact all of the Osbournes are lovely people ❤️

I have believed that for some time. I don't know if It is due to people on social media instead of talking to each other or what, but I realised that people have become pretty rude in general, and seeing so many trolls on social media, and so many really nasty and rude comments constantly, it made me wonder about people out there in general. People do not communicate the way they used to, I think that has a lot to do with it.

My friends dad lived in South Africa, near Pretoria, for just over 40 years. Last year his wife died & my friend went over to help his dad out for a month or so. Because of the lockdowns, he ended up being there for a year. He hadn’t spent that length of time out there and was shocked at how abysmally his dad was treated. The local shop keeper was rude & would never give his dad change in his hand, neighbours shoulder barged him on the pathway, an 89 year old man!! It was all that kind of underhand, ignorant rudeness. Anyway, his dad decidedly move back to the U.K. so they started getting rid of non essential/sentimental things. A neighbour came walking into the house and started gathering up things in the kitchen into a bag. When my friend confronted her, she said she wanted this stuff and that old man didn’t need it anymore anyway & just attempted to walk out with these things, the kettle & some plates, pretty much what was on the side & draining board. Obviously my friend stopped her & she started screaming abuse at him and his dad, who had just come out of hospital and was recovering from pneumonia. My friend didn’t remember people behaving like this 30 years ago when he lived there. The neighbourhood is a mixed area and everyone got in with each other. He was in a locally based band & performed everywhere & anywhere. They practiced unplugged in the front yard a lot of the time because none of them had air con back then. He had loads of all colours of local friends. But he really couldn’t understand the level of passive aggressive behaviour towards his elderly, poorly, recently widowed dad, who is quite a friendly mild mannered gentleman from my experience of meeting him recently. His memories were of every elder person being respected, and he presumed neighbours were looking out for his dad as they would have done in the past. Things were so bad that in the plane home the dad had some tears. My friend asked what’s up, dreading that his dad had changed his mind and wanted to go back. But it was because the cabin crew were so lovely, caring and polite towards him, he became a little overwhelmed. He’d become indoctrinated into accepting the mainly passive aggressive rudeness of a once friendly community, as normal. The local community has changed in that it’s now a predominantly black community, there’s not many white people left & apparently they are all treated the same way. Sadly my friend isn’t very well off at all, so he hasn’t been able to visit his parents in over a decade, he feels guilty that he didn’t know how things were for his parents. But they are now here, he is staying with his dad near his old home town in Somerset. Sadly, since being here, his dad has spent more time in hospital than out as things were more serious than just pneumonia. But his dad has enjoyed time on little walks through the woods, fields & beach. Something he always missed. He loved where he lived in South Africa, but it is definitely not an area for white people to live happily anymore. To me it sounds such a shame because he has painted a picture of a very easy going, happy community spirit that somehow has changed and been lost. I grew up in north London, I have a lot of friends from different places in the West Indies & mainly West Africa. They are great friends, they have amazing families & life is never lonely or dull. So I get a sense of the essence of community spirit my friends dad experienced and I don’t even want to consider a life with that missing.

Why couldn’t they just quietly walk away like that Japanese princess.

Being of Sicilian origin...I was once considered Black too. The largest mass lynching was in the US occurred in Louisiana. It was not Black... it was Sicilian ( a forgotten piece of history). I guess it all depends on the place you are from and what you local culture is like. In my world she is Black.

They were very proud of their identity. There is also some who are what is called Passe’ Blanc... it means they pass for white. Southeast Louisiana is unique in its own culture. What people outside of the area would consider racist is extremely normal for us. My children were called Redbone. While it is a slur, it is used to identify their heritage. Their father is Native American. We have three black haired black eyed children who have gorgeous tanned completions... however ... our fourth child Has skin the color of paste green eyes and flaming red hair. She did not look anything like any of us. We simply assume that it’s a throw back gene. That being said... I completely agree that she uses her Black heritage as a crutch. Since she is so proud of who she is... where are the members of Doria’s family. Surely there are aunts and uncles ... cousins? She is quick to use racism to get attention because it’s all she has to sell. Just like Harry.. the only thing he has to sell is his mother’s once beloved memories. He’s a dolt and she is a manipulator.

I am a black african, and yes although I have experienced some racism in my professional work but I will not agreed that Britain as a whole is a racist country, I nearlly choked at such a huge accusation anout the queen.. And to be honest in my view I have noted accusing people of rascism and the black lives matter thing has frustrated people so much and set us actaully back. Our white counterparts are confused and frustrated by some of us using this race card carelessly. We have to be very careful , this careless use of rascism might cause miore worse problems than good.

"Their truth" only means they are twisting the narrative to make people believe what they want them to believe. I think it's also called gaslighting. Harry said they were gaslit, no I think the only ones who are gaslighting are Harry and Meghan.

Had nothing to watch and was about to, thankfully I came across this clip, saved me time. Oh yes. Just listen to this woman. Spewing her stats, which aren't even correct. She's so stuck in her victimhood, and needs psychological help. She's one of those people who will treat you like a piece of garbage. When you get sick of her terrible treatment towards you, she'll fire back at you and use her race card. No accountability, and everything is because she's blc.

The elder abuse they directed to our Queen, her Prince and family etc is very tragic! She is truly evil unkind and mean spirited! Shameful!

And letting those hideous 'talking head' political commentators call The Commonwealth "the Empire version 2.0/just the same as it was back then only with better PR" was so disgraceful and untrue that I'm lost for words. I'm suspecting that if all these opinions shared by the carefully selected (and intensely partisan) academic participants were included in the docu-series then they were essentially saying what M and H could not directly say (or are too cowardly to admit to thinking too). What struck me as really incoherent and baffling, is how M and H said they were 'committed' to their role as leaders working with the Queen's beloved Commonwealth. How could they be so keen to work supporting the Commonwealth if it's "Empire version 2.0" and "the same as it was back then, just with better PR"????!! Those two sentiments don't go together. Thus, they strike me as deceptive and manipulative. How to respect someone like that... Can someone make some sense of this for me?! Also, to bring Brexit into it all as well...what an absolutely vile piece of self-aggrandising, sinister nonsense. It's all a tragi-comedy with everything being of most cultural importance and relevance being lost in translation between an American and a dopey posh Brit. So far, the show is worse than I thought it would be on so many levels and I was far too revolted and outraged to be able to have a good belly laugh (which is what I hoped the series would inspire). I'm sure you feel similarly Gia. Boo to them! PS= Meghan's court case where she SWORE legally that she did not help the authors of 'Finding Freedom' but when the evidence rolled in months later that she in fact HAD worked with the authors, and she was confronted in court with the digital paper trail she swore again all doe-eyed, 'oh I honestly forgot about that, yeah sorry'. Again, how to respect and like someone who lies so brazenly essentially to our faces like that and then has the nerve to play the victim/martyr/hero like that. And she's never called on any of this in those fluffy, brown-nosing dopey Californian interviews. PPS= If M's mates all knew how outraged she and H were when her father colluded with the media and talked to the press etc then am I expected to believe that NONE of her friends gave M a head's up when they were wanted to defend her by shopping a praise-filled article to People magazine all about her??? Even if they were as well-intentioned as her poor lost dad said he was, surely her coterie of protective girlfriends knew that more media interviews behind her back could really upset her and backfire if they didn't get her blessing. They just all went to People magazine with personal photos and intimate stories and DIDN'T TELL HER THEY WERE GOING TO??!! Oh bollocks. Again, I don't believe any of them, as they glossed over this detail and then LIED about whether or not the friends talked to her first about the People magazine article. Deliberately, strategically vague. I despise all this melodramatic manipulation, hypocrisy and dishonesty. We're being taken as fools. The extraordinary arrogance and self-regard...unreal.

Telling what happened to them is not abuse. What the British tabloids did IS abuse.

Recently I just have immense respect for prince William and princess Catherine of Wales.. He had also lost his mum and his grandparents recently.. So much responsibility towards his family and work.. Princess Diana would be real proud of him at the way he's holding up.. And Catherine so much she has evolved for her husband and country.. It's amazing how rock solid these two are in the face of so much adversity.. Princess Catherine deserves an award for being an epitome of strength and grace..

I actually have a similar situation in my family, where my relative (chinese) married a european girl, and his parents were disappointed he didn't marry a chinese person. But that wasn't because they were racist. It's because they were worried that they would have trouble communicating with a person who didn't speak chinese (and they barely spoke english). And she wasn't too respectful of chinese/east asian traditions either and ended up offending many relatives. So, often I think it's not about racism but about not wanting a big culture clash to then point where this new person can't fit in to the family.

There’s racism in every country unfortunately. The Uk is not specifically racist. If anything I think we’ve moved far past that. The term racism gets thrown around a lot now but the facts to back it are rare.

The same people who are calling everyone racist don’t realize, we are the same people who praised them and were so excited Harry found a bride and were beyond happy for them. We lost it when she acted ugly toward her family and then the royal family. Her wedding day was eye opening when her family wasn’t invited but she invited stars who didn’t really know her. We still gave her the benefit of the doubt. It just got worse from there …

She was very close with her mom and she was there. The relationship with the father and aunt was definitely messy. It's also hard to know where the truth lies if the press are actively doing a smear campaign on her.

I am SICK and tired of being lectured on racism 😤 I’m in Sydney, For goodness sake, I couldn’t go about my daily life if I had a “thing” about other races! I have a heart specialist who is Kenyan, lovely man, good doctor. I couldn’t shop or do banking if I was affronted by people of other races. I worked with a very mixed group of people, all colours, all races. We were good friends and were interested In each other’s cultures and backgrounds. WTH?? HM the Queen mixed with even more diverse people, closely, from all Commonwealth countries. The royals do not lead sheltered white lives! There’s something else going on now, something that is making a big deal from nothing. Fortunately I’ve never witnessed racism towards white people, which does happen. I’ve only heard from a distant relative that when she walked her baby down the street in a black neighbourhood, the neighbours would stop her and poke fun at her “pink baby who looked like a piglet!” True story! I discount that because I know There are good and bad in ALL races.

That's what I thought immediately after seeing a clip of the "freedom flight!" They had the deal already from the outset!

Oh my goodness, I live in a village of 1000 people and is the only ' black ' and of course there were about three people who thought I shouldn't be there but, I didn't put all in a drawer and called the entire village racist. I have so many friends and aquantance from different countries with different enithc backgrounds and thankfully we an make fun of each other without getting offened.

Yes to both of those questions. Yet this country is still institutionally racist. If you can’t see that it’s because you don’t want to, you’re ignorant or you’re racist. Simple as that.

Being that they’re putting the royal family in danger, the king should sue them into oblivion.

If they are so worried about security, why dont they keep a lower profile. It seems crazy.

When Piers asks her to give examples, her answer is always "I'm getting to that" and she continues on her rant, never giving him an answer! So why, does he keep on giving her time and a platform???

The best thing the press could do is ignore them. You can tell your story without bashing your family.

Hello from Germany. Nobody in their right mind would think Britain is racist. I've lived in England for a while and spent several vacations there and in Scotland before and after that. I truely love the UK and admired Her Majesty, the Queen. Her passing made me very sad. Your Royal Family is ours a little bit as well. Being the same age as William, I kind of "grew up" with the two brothers. The Queen always reminded me of my own grandmother, who adored Her Majesty. Witnessing what has become of Harry made me sad at first, but now it's just making me angry. This woman in the studio is always so disgustingly arrogant and her narrative only consists of "racism". The victims of true racism are ridiculed by people like her. I'm glad Her Majesty at least doesn't have to endure all this mean nonsense, started by her own grandson and his narcissistic, "I'm a victim"-wife. They are totally fallen from grace now.
