I’d give William a huge break about not going to see the Lionesses play! Have any of you flown to Australia? It’s a 23 hr flight!!! It’s a 90 minute game, and then a 23 hr flight home! I think he could have a video or zoom call showing his support before the game (he did after). He’s got plenty on his plate and let’s be honest, if he’d gone the eco warriors would be slamming him for his carbon footprint! I think William made the right decision!

Tessa drives me crazy, she’s the only one who interrupts when others are talking, and even when she’s not doing that, if the shot includes her, she can’t sit still and you can tell she’s going crazy having to wait a few minutes and let others talk!

It’s not like flying off to Paris/France, Australia is a very long journey take 24 hours, it was not his duty to fly all of this way to Australia, I live in Australia, we would have loved visit from the Wales family, Prince William, who had other more important duties to attended too, also what about many people would have been complains about Prince William flying all of that way for a soccer match then fly back,they would be complying about our climate and the damage. I disagree that William was wrong not to go. Yes the Queen was wonderful choosing duty over family but it obviously has caused problems as well. I think William is smart enough to see that and is working to strike the right balance so he can show George how to do it too.

I don’t believe it’s number 1 like they said. Numbers can and do get manipulated. Also, I don’t believe Americans would rush to see her as an actress except to bash her bad acting skills. They are not as popular as what was said. Most Americans don’t care about royalty at all and others could care less about her. People only know her in America for the negativity she spews so it’s looking for a train wreck by most. Her having to pay big bucks to even get her noticed is funny. She wasn’t noticed at Taylor Swift so Beyoncé they made sure to get some shots of her. Still it was sad looking, Harry looked boated and mad, her mom is her hangout friend lol, then her one other friend nobody knows or cares about plus a couple of pics with only a couple of Hollywood celebrities and none with Beyoncé. Those American poll numbers are from the PR firm not real people. Also, no kids again and her mom isn’t watching them plus all the rumors of Harry’s drug use still ongoing and Doria’s jail time over drugs and still using with some saying Meghan is using too. Usually if others in your life husband, mom and your always hanging out then some truth maybe possible. But in CA who doesn’t do them to be honest. Just sad for the kids if true.

I understand that like a head of the nation, the King has to show tolerance. But as the head of the state, the King also has to protect it. If he can’t trust Harry and suspects their conversations will leak , of course he would keep his distance. And really, Harry was trashing them publicly, he is the one who should try to make things better if he wants his family.

Tessa is a strong Harry and Meghan supporter. That said, unlike the Sugars, she is very much a realist and is well aware that the playing field is not level. The sheer power and influence of the institution of monarchy is such that Harry and Meghan cannot compete and win against it. She wants Harry and Meghan back in the fold and those who follow her can discern that what she is actually agitating for is Harry and Meghan's original half-in and half-out proposal. It is clear to her that megxit has failed and that Harry and Meghan need the royal dust backed up by the infrastructure of monarchy to propell them to the heights she believes Harry and Meghan can reach. She is therefore very frustrated that Charles is not being what she terms "the bigger man" and allowing Harry and Meghan back into the fold.

Harry and Meghan cannot compete and win against the monarchy. There, you said it! BUT WHY, WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO? Petulance because they didn't get their half in, half out idea approved? They clearly wanted to set up an alternative monarchy in Montecito run by Meghan's woolly Californian styled marijuana infused chantings, and they failed. The then head of state, the late Queen, rejected the half in half out idea. And quite correctly, as that is the basis they still try to work on, but it's failed dismally. In frustration, their main modus operandi have been vilifying, trashing, mirroring and spitefully strategizing to steal the limelight. And employing some very weird people known for their utter lack of class and ethics to get there. And yes, people watch them, as they are a train crash in the making. We watch in horror but fascination. Back in the day, before people knew the real Harry and Meghan, they were popular, but Harry overrelied on that and thought it would see him through and make him triumph so that he could give the finger to his brother and father. It didn't work. The two are now in the Anna Nicole Smith phase of their careers. From a Prince of the Empire to this in three years. And Invictus won't save Harry, he'll be the death of Invictus. The thousands of thumb-downs as soon as the trailer was published, is testiminy to that. As is the fact that Canada wants to pull out of hosting the Ganes next year because of the association with Harry, who has been attacking the Chief Commander and Head of State of GB for years now - the very person to whom these wounded and disabled soldiers swore allegiance. I think hoarse and hysterical Tessa is on the Markles' payroll. That's they way they operate and ensure that they get their unimportant 'awards'.

They are watching Suits out of curiosity about Meghan Few people knew about her in the US. She was not a great star or a great anything--at least not that we were aware of. Watching Suits is not going to make people think she is a great actress as her character is the stereotypical sexy young thing every TV show has to have. That season has passed for her. The heavy duty acting was done by others. Perhaps she could be offered roles now, but they will not be the quality ones that get the awards. Another actor has said, "If you don't make it by 35, you might as well give up." Since she needs to work and support Harry, though, I see no problem with her taking whatever roles she is offered.

Exactly. There’s nothing to watch on television except game shows, some reruns and reality garbage. Suits isn’t in the top ten in Canada on Netflix so the comment saying it’s top worldwide Netflix show isn’t true for all countries. I haven’t watched Suits and won’t with Markle’s involvement. I am old. The Queen was always in my long life. When she died, a large part of everything died. Not just royalty but the tenor of all civil western society.

Dunlop is a complete turnoff.

The biggest malaise on Talk TV is always Tessa. When I see her, I have to back away. She’s clearly included as the provocateur and her points are never on point.

Tessa is a person who is unwilling, (not unable) to look at both sides and form a constructive opinion. She is so blinded by love for H$M. She works ridiculously hard to try to convince us we are as ignorent of the facts as she is. She just can't admitt that H$m are the vile duo they have proven themselves to be, by both word and action. Tessa is a waste of air on this show.

Honestly, William was doomed no matter what ge did around the Football final. By him not going he got criticized for not supporting the Lionesses enough. But if he went, he would have been criticised and called an entitled hypocrite over climate issues and that he flew all the way to Australia and back just to visit a 2 hour football match - not to mention all the additional expenses and worries about protection.

SUITS is only doing well now because of the ongoing strikes with the writers and actors in Hollywood. People need shows to watch and there's very few current shows that have already been shot.

Charles has behaved in a very dignified way.

I think there was more to it than just the potential climate backlash of flying 22 hours for a 90 minite game. It would have been nice if the whole family went and saw the Austraia/Sweden match for third place too. Could the fact that Australia is one of the realms of the monarchy and the new King has not visited it yet been a factor. Just asking ....

Yes, Piers, talk more about the fact they still haven't met Meghan's father. What did he do that was so terrible. Have you noticed, all the male members of their families have been ostracised.

I'm an American and I have opinions. I feel William made the right decision not going to Australia. The money it would've cost was astronomical from what I'm hearing and he can celebrate in the UK. So, what's the problem? Also, Americans are watching 'Suits' to see what all the drama is about. Since 95% or more of us had NEVER even heard of Meghan Markle until Harry & she announced their engagement, everyone is trying to figure out what's going on. I'm an anglophile so I love all things British, guess it started when I was very young. In later years I realized much of the music played on American radio in those days (in the 60's) was British bands like the Stones, Moody Blues, etc. Anyway, I always admired the Royal Family as well. So when I found out Harry had picked an American to wed, I was kind of proud. Plus I loved Diana and this was her 2nd son, finally settling down. That positive vibe didn't last long. Most Americans are not so into the British culture, the Monarchy or life, as they are too busy worrying about what's going on in their own lives in America. Many don't understand what happened between the Queen & her grandson and his vile wife, the disrespect, the disloyal attitude shown by both of them. I think in general most Americans like the story line of 'Suits', they like the writing etc, they even like the actors....except Meghan. I have heard many say her acting isn't that bad, but then they add that she is playing herself, so there is no stretch to her acting skills. No one could be around her for long without realizing what a conniving, manipulating, bully she is, how she uses and manipulates people to get what she wants.... no one is impressed by her. As more of my nation realizes what has gone on with her, they will turn away from her...now Hollywood is different. In America, Hollywood is known for kooks. People with crazy wild attitudes, non-reality focused individuals, living in LaLa Land. Not everyone in the State mind you, and surely not everyone in Hollywood. I think there will be some celebrities that might associate with them, but many who see who & what they are, and will turn their backs to them. So please do not think the American public is falling all over them, because you would be very wrong. 😊🇨🇱🇺🇲👍

From what I have read - that was a huge consideration. Given the state of the economy, homelessness in many countries, it would have been a terrible frivolous waste of money. It is a shame it couldn't have coincided as a larger visit or he would have been closer to the games. On the one hand people cry about the climate, but then wonder why a jet wasn't taken hours and hours away to see 1 soccer game.

Please dont have tessa dunlap on. She is not intresting, and she wont allow the intresting people to talk, who I want go hear their opionions.

William did the right thing by not coming g to Australia for a 90min football match .I would have been livid with him if he had of .

Because H believes what M says and she says they were mean to her, when she chose to think only of herself. For the Markles it all boils down to Megnut being rapped over the fingers for all her bad behaviors. We know that she had no respect for the queen and the institution as a whole. I don’t think William needed to be at the Lionness game in AU. It would be hypocritical to rail on about climate change and then waste all that fuel and money on security etc on just a few hours at a game. He can celebrate the team back in the UK and the team understood his motives. That’s what matters.

The Queen was spot on when she said smegaliar was evil so is sparry. Elizabeth was a monument. When she was sick she got up got dressed to go and greet the new prime minister. That speaks volumes of what a great Queen she was. RIP she's missed every day. 🙏
