Lil Eff loves a good nap! Kuu is clearly very sociable little one🥰

Anytime the zoo would like to announce the sex and names of the babies would be great. Little Eff looks so sweet napping away. I wish he was at least on the little blanket with Effie...I hope Effie starts to take parenting ques from Mjukuu and gives little Eff a little more affection. Im glad the little baby got in a good nap there. Looks so sweet.

LOL everyone sitting around so quietly waiting on the baby to wake up. Both babies are growing so fast and full of energy. Mom Effie is still afraid one of them are going to snatch her baby.

CAn we get the gorillas and babies ages and sex if known please? I know there are two other females or could be a juvenile blackback in there and of course the daddy silverback. These are really sweet videos of the babies I just want to know all their names ages and how related. I saw another Video where some gorilla with the name of A has not had a baby with the silverback and then there is another adult or sub adult then the two moms and the two babies. PS thank you--I found the names of adults and older kids through research thanks anyways.

Are there no greens or veg for the Gorrillas to munch on they seem to be a long time without food and the place is so tidy are they not allowed food in this enclosure

Helen, you said in your comment that it had been a long time since the gorillas had eaten vegetables, and you was concerned there was none that you saw in the video. I saw it differently than you. I see it that the animals are content. If they were hungry, they certainly would not have all been waking from a nap. I believe the gorillas ate their meal, vegetables included, then a nap or rest was after. It is funny how some see the glass half empty, and others see the glass half full. I always find it interesting how we can see the samethings with our eyes, but assuming is based of a person's own perception- negative or a positive perception. @DemetriusStaggs-ok3eo Yes, I saw her do that too. She's not a normal gorrilla mom that I can see. She's always pushing the baby away. I don't know how the baby feeds, but she feeds herself. Maybe she has the gorrilla version of postpartum depression.

You'll see primate mothers do this of all kinds ,its to clear the milk glands , which can clog .

Every once in a while, I have seen a mother drink their own milk. I've also seen baboons do the same. I've only seen it on videos 2 times with 2 different baboons at different locations, but it was so funny in both instances because it was even harder for them than this gorilla because they are pulling their nipple up and at the same time just like this gorilla they have their heads downwards so to meet their ripple and it was very differcult with both baboons that I have watched. One of them must have gotten a taste because she was'nt giving up so easily.

Reminds me of Kunda wanting to play constantly with Jameela at the Cleveland MetroParks Zoo. Jameela will be ready in another month or so, Kunda is 11 months old and Jameela is 5 months old. Kunda’s feisty side is coming out and she trying to wrestle with Jameela, they’re both just adorable. All these sweet and precious babies makes my day so much brighter.
