Effie’s last baby, Gernot, was raised by Mjukuu. I’ve seen a couple of videos where it appeared like Mjukuu wanted to pick up Effie’s baby. It seems like Effie is doing what’s necessary, when she feels like it, that’s it. Hopefully as the baby gets older she’ll change and become more loving like Tayari at Taipei zoo did.

Where are her other children she had? Did Mjukuu raise all the others? 🤔I’ve seen some videos that Mjukuu was about to scoop this young one up 👁️

You are right. Effie is doing much better now. Her baby is growing and she becomes more and more loving and caring😊🥰

Just by reading the comments I know I can’t Handle watching this again it just stresses me out I want that Poor little innocent baby to be held and loved.

@@lindapelle8738 It happens. I took a break from little Hassani when his surrogate mom shook him and the D’Jecco troop when Ringo was little. But everyone survived and is doing great.

Ooo Effie, sometimes you can be a bit mean. I reckon if they were humans, Effie would be the type of mum that expects her kids to go out and get on with it. If they fell over and came to her crying she would tell them to stop whining and go back and play. But there is also alot of tenderness. Effinetta (the name I call the wee one) is certainly going to be independent strong willed and resilient!

Agreed, well this is the first of three babies that she had an is the first one she’s raising but I notice more an more her deeper bond to him but she’s not the touchy feely mom like the other gorilla mom

@@annemariemcnamara8756 I absolutely agree with you. Maybe Effie is not as affectionate as Mjukku, but she is becoming more and more caring😊 Clearly she loves her baby🥰

Poor baby keeps trying to crawl on his mom to nurse and Effie keeps pushing him off, sometimes even throwing him...close to a stick with prickly things sticking out. I feel bad for the baby, he is such a cutie. He can easily get hurt with the way that she treats him. I wish I could pick him up and play with him. She rejected her last baby and Mjukuu had to raise him. I wouldn't be surprised if she Effie does the same with this baby. She doesn't act like she wants to be his mother.

I get so upset that the little one gets no attention from her, she is so cold. While the other baby has such a wonderful mom. I wish another momma would have swooped up this baby and cared for it. The little one looks under fed or is he just younger than the other baby? You know the one with the good mom.

Mjukuu is more affectionate mother. Her baby was born on 17 January. Effie's baby is a bit younger (born on 8 February). I can see that Effie has lots of milk and her baby looks more chubby than Mjukuu's baby.🥰🥰

What a great mom. Not needy, in charge, tireless in watching her child. People seem to prefer the most unbalanced of gorilla mothers. Kind of amazing.

Hello 👋 Little Baby Gorilla 🦍. He is cute and precious. I would love 😍 to just pick him up and hug 🤗 and play with him. Mother seems to not care about him much she keeps pushing him away. Make I am wrong. But I read were she had two other babies but didn't take care of them this is the first one she has kept. I Pray she becomes more loving and caring to him 😘.
