Let me put it this way, Miroslav Klose and Philipp Lahm had already retired from the national team, Mats Hummels was suspended and Sami Khedira was out on injury. Apart from them, all the other players you mentioned were in the starting 11, and the match speaks for itself. It simply did not go Germany's way, and France were superior on the night. Also, don't forget that Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud, Hugo Lloris and Dimitri Payet were on fire during these home Euros, not to mention the rest of France's team. Overcoming them would surely have being a tough feat, nothing like 2014.

@@miranda12792 So you are simply saying Germany would have won 1-0 if the team lineup was the same as the previous World Cup. Also, one thing to take into account regardless of the Germans who would have been on the pitch, is that France was probably prepared for Germany having had the experience of losing to them two years ago. One final detail that must have played its part is the home advantage and home support for France, especially in a stadium like Marseille's, one of the best in the country.
