My husband, before he was my husband, would get me to try every beer he tried when we were out to find that one that “works” for me. Personally, I just felt like he got a kick out of my “gross beer” face. Watching this, I kinda get it. The look on Naomi’s face with the Guinness, the sound, the free frames.. the abject look of horror.. it was great. Thanks you for tormenting yourself with beer for our entertainment.

@@Scriptadiaboly no, I am usually good with fruit based beers as long as they are low on hops. The bitter is what gets me the most. I do love tomatoes though. If you have any brands in mind, I’d be happy to take some suggestions

Yes, Pilsner is Czech because it's from Plzeň. It's probably our most popular beer.

jo i ne.. pilsner is a type of lager that was first produced in plzen (hence the name), but they can be made anywhere else (corona is a pilsner type of lager for example). naomi wasn't drinking pilsner urquell (which is not completely czech anymore btw as japan (asahi) bought it - but at least they sell it a lot in asia now, overall you're of course right that it's our most popular beer though), that's why it was specified on budvar when she was reading the label coz that's one of our most popular beers actually still owned by us i think, however the usa budweiser was making claims on the name so now it's called czechvar there lol anyway na zdravi

It was invented by a German, though - Josef Groll from Vilshofen, who was specifically invited to go to the Czech Republic to invent a new type of beer.

Ok as a fellow beer hater the main thing I would recommend is to chill them beers as cold as you can. I know that is considered the wrong way to drink beer in most of the world but the colder it is the less it tastes and when you don't like the taste being VERY VERY COLD helps more than anything else .

I am czech and also from a beer town so this video was hilarious and also painful 😭😂 for everyone who hate the classic beer taste i reccomend to try any beer what is ALE, IPA or specials, vecause they have different taste and they are often fruity. And if you want to try 40 beers at once like our Naomi, try to drink water between the beers and maybe eat some neutralizers like cheese or white pastry. Cheers!

You should def try Lindemans raspberry lambic beer!! I still remember the first time I tried it, it felt like I had an out of body experience. So damn good.

I think for those who dont like beer, Apple cider or blueberry cider are the best. They are not sour, but they have the look and alcohol content, they are a lot more acidic tho. And I know, some will say, "Its not beer" - Somersby is nice but hand crafted beer fruty beer are also good.

Don’t worry, there are sooo many beer-mix-drinks in Germany available as well. However if you drink them in Germany everyone will tell you that’s it’s not the real thing and you are a weak person for not being able to handle beer. It is frowned upon unless you are under the age of 15 😂 I dislike beer as well and I was once in a beer garden with friends getting the dirtiest look for my coke 😅

I strongly dislike all alcohol, but cider does taste better than beer to me, while beer tastes better than wine or liquor.

In the Netherlands we have a brand called "moersleutel" and the designs on their cans are amazing! Many many many different kinds of beers and amazing flavors 😍

The fact that almost all of these beers are so so popular and available literally everywhere in Berlin, more easily accessible than water, and Naomi is clueless about them 😆

POLAND MENTIONED WAAA And yeah, I too do not like "normal" beer but I can recommend various flavored ones. AND a tip for drinking beer, to kill the bitterness and to make it bearable, adding a raspberry syrup (the kind that you mix with water or tea) to the beer, it's good

Back when I was still able to enjoy the odd beer, I recall a lovely January trip to Berlin and had a berlin white beer with some raspberry syrup in it and it was EVERYTHING. Apparently you can also put Wintergreen in it, but that is where I draw the line. One of my favourite things used to be cherry and raspberry beer - ithink you might like them

i remember one video where you tasted soju, and as someone who also doesn't like how bitter beer is and how sweet soju is on its own, i think you might actually like light beer with soju! a shot of soju in a beer glass cancels out the beer's bitterness and makes soju taste less sugary, and it goes HARD with some korean bbq 🔥 (it's great with non alcoholic light beer as well btw!)
