Great video and good work raising so many fry. I'm a little surprised you just use the containers for so long without a sponge filter. I'll have to try it. I've got a tank of gold rams that look like they might spawn soon

Good video. Your tank look very minimalistic. Any chance you would share your water parameters? Are you using 100% RO/DI water or you already had aged water.?

I love cichlids. Currently have Convicts. Boy can they breed. I tried putting Rams and Convicts together as tank mates but the Rams died on me.

So you don't need to hatch them in the same water as the tank? Do you need to acclimate them?

Very interesting. I have tried to breed these in my tap water but had no success. My male developed popeye which worsened until I had to cull him. Is this a common problem with them?

My eggs hatched but then the wigglers all died like a day later. I don't think they got tired out because the flow was super low. Do you think too low of flow could have caused them to fungus?
