Are there still the plans for expanding the gallery? Also, one other option you might consider for goldfish is to, essentially, rebuild your old oscar setup from before the entire mess with the other building.

As a marine biologist I’ve found your videos really informative and interesting and I always find myself drawn to both your current content and your older diy videos. You’ve through your videos I’ve been able to learn and grow my areas of interest and your responsible for my love in freshwater aquatic life. Your videos are amazing and your a great person.

And, following your lead, I was even thinking about making a video to show the community how I did my specific DIY to give more people ideas and knowledge in the future. We're all growing in the hobby together in this way, and I'm so glad you've been here to help me along. Thank you.

Joey, I've been with you since you were still building the 2000G aquarium. I've seen all the highs and lows since then and throughout all of it I've been so engaged and interested in it that it made me re-discover my love for this hobby. I cannot thank you enough for the positive impact you have had on me, and on other members of the community who value your expertise and compassion for this hobby. We all love you. I will not lie, however, that the last couple of years the experience on the channel hasn't been as engaging as it was before the pandemic when, like you said, you were doing "blog-esque" videos. Over the years I noticed how less and less videos were uploaded to the channel and it didn't bother me, the content was engaging and I understand how life can be. Then after a while it felt like more fun content was being published on other platforms like Insta or on a livestream, and the channel itself was missing out on that fun/updates. Now with the release of this video I know why that was the case, and I completely understand. If you're not engaged with the content you're producing, then why bother? I get it. At the end of the day this is your channel; you run it how you want to, and as long as you're engaged, comfortable, and having fun then the rest of us will be too.

You will never please everyone. But you always inspire someone. I loved all your old and new vids. Dont think ive missed a vid from before the days of old shed builds and the constant flooding of your basement. (Which we all know didnt stop. Lol) but do what you enjoy. Ive missed seeing your vids. Your vids were always something to look forward to. No matter what it was about. Those who care, wont freak out about any silly, informative, diy builds, etc. Alot of us true viewers watch it no matter what. :) you always help me in certain things in the hobby. And ive copied some of your ideas at times to. Just wish i could go out and build alot more things like you do. You have my dream for fish keeping. :)

the heat difference between the thermostat temperature and the tanks is simply a mixture of heat rises so higher tanks will be warmer and to do with all plugged in devices creating heat (lights/pumps etc) when turn on. All tanks will be slighter cooler once all the tank and room lights turn off. The tank led lights generate a 3--5 degrees more heat when turned on in my fish room too.

Joey actually here in Asia keeping goldfish in warm temperature is way more preferred than cooler temperatures, but I think that's because they were raised in warm temperature when they were bred as for your place they might have been raised in cooler temperatures.

I discovered your channel a couple of years ago, I used to keep cichlids when I was a teenager in the uk and had to leave them behind when I moved to Australia . I’ve just started a new Malawi tank and loving it! Your videos were definitely a catalyst, you do what makes you happy bud 👍

Please don’t go! I’ve only been in the hobby for 10 months but passionately for 4, and I owe a lot of that to you and other youtubers. Your content is fun even when you are just rambling about the things that happened to you even when they don’t go right. You are REAL and we like that. Keep them coming.

I will support you regardless of what you want. :) You are the reason i felt comfortable making my own sump, drilling my aquarium. running a fully planted aquarium and only needing to top the water off because levels wouldn't go up was virtually self sustaining. I love it and love all videos you make.

Personally I enjoy all your videos, but the ones you first done were what made me start following you in the first place. All the DIY stuff helped me in the hobby, with out your videos personally I wouldn’t have been able to afford to buy all the stuff needed. So thank you!

I watch every video you post so whatever you do I’ll continue to watch! The diy stuff is great but seeing the progress of your tanks is prob my fav. Don’t stress it too much! You’ll still have dedicated viewers whatever you choose! 💕 Also as someone who had a rough upbringing as well, you are an inspiration

I really appreciate the fact that you're keeping more 'normal' fish for us regular hobbyists, I love red eye tetra and in fact have a school of 8 right now, I feel they are a very under-apriciated fish, and love to see them in huge numbers in your piranha tank :D
