Is it just me or does this video have ASMR qualities? Love his intonations and utensil noises.

Are there any good cooking shows on TV like this, using strictly historical recipes? If not, there should be!

Absolutely fascinating, thank you!I'm not very good with measurements, so I wonder if there was another cup of chocolate left in there as that seems an awful lot of sugar for one cup.

I have a question about the mashed past patties that you've let sit for a month. It's a well known fact that chocolate has a tendency to go rancid if not consumed soon after exposure to air. If that is the case then, what did you do and or / what would KH8 chocolate cook have done to avoid this problem?

I wondered if the small amount of whiteness on the back of the chocolate when it was pulled off the grease paper was fungus? (looking at 2:12) Or is that was shiny chocolate reflecting the Chocolate Cook's apron?

Looks like a lot of chocolate and port, I think I’d be a very Ill lady if I drank all that. I wonder if the king shared this with his queen or his most important subjects, otherwise he would have had an incinerator for a stomach to be able to digest all that richness.

Happy to see proper measurements rather than the French, metric equivalents.
