Good for them, last time I was in a tornado while in school the girl to my left was inconsolably crying and the little boy to my right was frantically panting and mumbling "I don't want to die." Someone singing a little tune would've been nice.

they may have just been in position in case the tornado changed course. it probably wouldn't have been allowed if they were in immediate danger. Teachers make students be quiet in these situations in case they have to shout out directions as windows are blown in and roofs are lifted off of the building. I still remember when my school was evacuated to the tornado fallout hallway and we had our mixed choir singing Blown Away lol (ignoring teacher instructions to stop.) it was painfully ironic.

The teachers at this school are very caring when it comes to the students. They make sure every student gets the help they need and I love that the teachers let them do this. I'm glad all the students are safe.

I'm about to cry, I wish humanity could be like these teens, this is beautiful... I'm not trying to sound overdramatic but I'm about to cry. Beautiful...

Ok I live in Georgia and I remember this tornado happening. We were in duck and cover for like 4 hours and everyone just wanted to go home. I think for most cases they would have told everyone to shut up but it was taking so long it didn't really matter anymore

As someone who just moved to tornado alley and has felt the intense emotions among students during shelter-ins, I found this incredibly moving. Students are angry, uncomfortable, scared, want to leave and keep pulling out cell phones (that they shouldn't have) that are ringing and buzzing with alerts of tornadoes hitting buildings down the road. I was in a club like this in high school and even though making noise is against protocol, this would have been so calming and unifying.

I’ve lived in tornado alley for like 3 or 4 years and I’ve only encountered like 2 tornadoes and I was asleep during both. We get a lot of tornado watches but the most we get is flood warnings, high winds, and dangerous rain😂 Texas is so overdramatic you could turn on a fan and they’d ring the siren. We do have a lot of lockdowns though but that has nothing to do with the weather tornado alley just got some ratchet kids.

a group of us did the same thing during the Sandy hook shooting , I don't live to far from new town my school was still put on lock down but I remember a group of kids singing quietly in their classroom just to reassure them selves that even though it was a real drill nothing was gonna happen I'm not posting this to brag because while I was siting in the classroom calling my dad to make sure my sister was ok being at the school right down the road from me , parents were rushing to Sandy hook after hearing a shooter was in the building and parents were desperately waiting on news of their child or loved one watching it all unfold on a computer screen knowing we live an hour away not even an hour it was honestly the saddest day out of my 4 years of high school

Me and my friend did a cover of this, this is so amazing

They let them sing because they where afraid and scared my school would have done the same

A bullet was found in the hallway of my school and we were in lock down for 4 and a half hours with no lunch, other classes were on their phones while my math class sang. Anyway, this was so cool, and these peeps are awesome!

It is not worship to acknowledge and thank her for her faithfulness to her Son while they walked the earth among us. I give thanks to all who came before us, even blessed Abraham, who by faith, obeyed God and brought about all the saints who came before us. So, without understanding fully the communion of saints and our love for all who walk with God, please be still and silent when others express their gratitude to Him most high, including His blessed mother and father.

Where in the bible does it say to thank anyone else besides God?new and old testament always say praise God.....not praise saint John or peter or mary.not debating just stating what needed to be said.ur comment was still beautiful.speaking on worship etc.and I thank God u have a deep relationship with Jesus to see that worship to him is so important.have a nice new year

I have to speak out on the falsehood of idol worship of Mary and saints.we don't thank them.for example my grandmother was a powerful woman of God and I learned a lot from her....she's in heaven now.i never thank her for anything.i thank God for her example to me.i miss her sometimes and feel close to her sometimes but never praise her thank her or lift her on any level close to Jesus any other Idols ...including mary and "the saints# is idolatry

Mrs. Angelina Parker When your body expires and you meet all the saints in the spiritual realm, you will have nothing but love and gratitude for all because we are all ONE BODY. We are all ONE WITH GOD. I'm talking about those of us who put our faith in Christ. There is no fear where there is LOVE. You fear that loving all the saints means you love them like you love God. We worship and praise God Most High and we love all others still. You will understand one day.

I don't know what i'm feeling, but this feels nice.

Not only was in beautiful, but it was moving and heart warming. Absolutely wonderful that they handled this so well.

This almost made me cry it is so beautiful I love it when students work together when something bad is happening

I love it perfect notes hit at the right time

What makes me happy is all these kids are probably singing this for God.

SavageMarvelHooman7 it's a public school. A decent amount of the people there probably aren't even devote christians. The only reason I know that song is because I was forced against my will to attend church (I had church) but I gained a love for this particular arrangement when I learned about Pentatonix.
