GSP was the first Mixed Martial Artist, to show no signs of weakness. He set the standard, on how to be dominant in all aspects. And his well-roundedness, is really something else. Out- grappling a wrestler, out-striking a striker. That’s incredible. And still with all the skill he had, all the talent he had. He still countined, to hold his peace with opponents. He was always very humble. The GOAT, The Greatest Of All Time. Georges ‘Rush’ St-Pierre!!

Great video! He is, in my opinion, the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. - Never tested positive for PEDs - Avenged all of his losses (in devastating fashion) - Won in different eras - Beat the best and hungriest fighters - Was a role model inside and outside of the octagon - Came back from defeat better than ever - Was a brilliant tactician - 2 division champ - Holds a ton of top 10 statistical records (most wins, win streak, title fight wins, time in octagon, time in control, sig strikes landed, sig strike defence, strikes landed, take downs landed, take down accuracy, and submission attempts) - Remember, he was begging the UFC for testing, before most even thought it was an issue - Retired ON TOP (this is rare for a fighter) - And a lot more If you doubt this decision, you need to go back and watch his fights. He is the MJ of the UFC.

I think of GSP as the 1st actual MMA fighter. When he was coming up the fighters were a lot more specialized and limited. He really put all the necessary skill sets together and combined with his athleticism you have a dominant reign. I also like how he was a big PPV draw without having to act like a clown.

4:25 God damn‼️Those head slams and then that knee to the head were fucking BRUTAL‼️💯😬 Definitely a GOAT, greatest Welterweight of all time‼️He had some pretty bad losses when he did lose, but he was generally very consistent and really kicked ass‼️He wasn't playing around at all when he fought, it's crazy people said he was boring, because he would rock people's shit 😭😭😭 people just HATED the wrestling aspect more back then, they thought it was boring to be on the ground at all and to hold position. Even light ground and pound and submissions were usually too boring. A decent amount of people still dislike ground game and try to say it's cheap or boring. But the truth is that it is the best way to go when used effectively. I would say BJJ and wrestling are the most important because it can nullify strikers SO well. Boxing is pretty important too, but when wrestling and BJJ is used very well, it's so hard to stop. That's why Khabib is one of the GOATs, and never lost a fight, a round, or bled in a fight. Undeniably one of the greats. But GSP is too, my point is that wrestling and BJJ must be paired with boxing or kickboxing for you to be a champion nowadays. One specialty isn't enough anymore to win titles. You must be well rounded if you want to get a belt, or even a chance‼️💯 Too many killers in every division now
