GSP is the GOAT. He avenged his only 2 losses. He was the best at beating you at your own game. Game plan genius much like Couture. Georges never failed a PED test in an ERA where basically everyone was on them. He left the sport on top. Greatest Welterweight champ we’ve seen. Even came back to grab the middleweight title. And that’s just inside the cage. The guy is a true professional that was ahead of his times! Thanks for this podcast

What I like about Lex's podcast is that it provides a nice contrast in style to that of Joe Rogan, for example. Where Joe's is more conversational and laid back, Lex's questions are more formal and thought out. Both are good. But I enjoyed this podcast, and got a lot of value from it. Thank you Lex

GSP's comments on confidence are really spot on!. Fear of failure can be double-edged. Fear can motivate you to train harder, study harder, work harder. Too much fear and you won't even attempt the challenge because you believe it is pointless and the outcome is already pre-determined. Too little and you won't put enough effort in to succeed. You need to find that balanced middle ground to reach your absolute potential.
@triocha233

@retardno002

It's indeed a double edged sword. That fear is also known as the ego. You can use it, or it can use you. Funnily enough success and doing more are not synonymous with happiness. Doing just enough and learning to enjoy life with the people around you does that. Some people just need to achieve success before seeing it, or before being able to do it whatsoever. Being successful is a public service, inspiring others to the detriment of your own happiness.

This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzread.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

What an interesting mix. One became the best through rational intellect, one through raw skill channeled by that verysame intellect, and one got to the top through pure heart and perseverance. It's like all the streets leading to success converging on one podcast, reflected in the art of violence. It's almost poetic.

I think Firas is highly overrated honestly. If a coach only produces one great champion throughout a long career of training fighters, then it's probably the champion's doing rather than the coach's doing. We are a fly on the wall for this discussion!
I’m assuming Gordon is the youngest man in this conversation. With that being said, it’s admirable to see him mostly listening to the conversation. He’s absorbing. Very cool to see.
Lex, awesome show/interview! Thanks so much for the work and sharing it with us.
I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this, great job Lex, can't wait to watch the rest!
GSP will go down in history as one of the greatest role-models in MMA. He is influencing a smarter and more humble generation of fighters.
Great intro 😂 easily one of my favorite podcasts of all time. Would’ve gladly listened for another hour+. Thanks gents.
Excellent idea to have all 3 of the best on this detailed podcast. Thoroughly interesting to find out more about these 3 , in the analytical and interesting questions that you asked, Lex . Thank You for this podcast.
Thank you for bringing such valuable and entertaining conversations Lex! Did you consider talking to Firas Zahabi? I think it would be a really good conversation given his mma coaching experience, stories with George St.Pierre and knowledge in philosophy
I am from KC and I am watching this over the Chiefs AFC Championship game
This guys are badass man. Spent the whole day checking out their achievements and fights and was motivated by the sheer talent those beasts exhibit.

This is godsent. Just finished relistening the 2nd Ryan Hall visit, having five hours to kill at work. And this appears!
Love these talks with such unique minds like mine. It’s delightfully motivating and comforting.
This is one of your best interviews, the mental gymnastics you are pulling off going back and forth with everyone is really impressive!

Don’t forget Greg Jackson and Phil Nurse. My favorite MMA photo of all time is GSP in the Octagon with those 5 guys behind them. The ultimate student and athlete backed by masters in their discipline.
Danaher's impression of George was outstanding
Thank you Mr. Fridman, For putting such an excellent podcast together!
