I understand it's a comedy and I like watching this again because I used to watch this with my nan and granda in the 70s when I was 11-year-old. But Brian Murphy is now 91. So youtha Joyce said you will live till a 100. So he has only got 9 years LOL🤔🇬🇧.

This is the British spin off of, “Man About the House,” and we Americans copied “Man…” as, “Three’s Company.” “George and Mildred,” is our, “Roper’s,” the scripts are near identical in both American series. This and man about the house were so good, What ever happened to good programs such as these? Those were happy days, apart from the fear of nuclear obliteration, although this seems to be the case now. These two were just fantastic, They may have played working class people, but they did not make fun of us. The proletariat are often just made fun of and put down, This I have never liked the middle class playing working class people with no idea of what life is really like.

Maybe I just don’t get it since I’m American, and under 70 years old? If this is comedy I’ll stick with South Park

You had the American version called "Three's company " ( "Man about the house" in the uk ) & the spin off of this called " The Ropers. "

There is a big difference, no foul language, no obnoxious kids, no vulgar references. I'm way under 70, but prefer this. To each their own.
