Very sad to hear that 😢

This episode was missed off the list on itv x. I came across it on here, and I love it. I was in my late teens when this was first shown and I just dismissed it back then as naff rubbish. But now I watch it and love it. I loved Man about the house but never liked the Ropers as the Landlords, so I never gave this spin off a chance, but now that I'm older, I think it's a much better series. Yootha Joyce is just wonderful. I love her colour coordinated outfits as well. I love George playing Poker with Tristram it's so funny. Brian Murphy is perfect as George. What a gem of a program to rediscover. It's a shame Yootha died so young, She was so talented an actress.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be..

TX 26th December 1977 (Boxing Day edition)

Such a shame someone decided to make it full screen 16:9 instead of 4:3 and lost much of the picture. I watched it on Daily motion instead with the correct aspect ratio and the whole image. Please just have black bars down the side and show it as it should be. Most episodes are also on ITV X in the correct format but for some reason not this episode.

@@Steve-gc5nt Haha... when I went to Scotland a few years ago, I couldn't believe how many kilt shops there were. I also wondered why there were high walls around schools and colleges. Until someone said - it's to keep the wild Scotsmen out... lol. But serious, it's great that the Scottish traditions are being honored.
