Trying to describe George Michael's voice is like trying to describe a color you've never seen. What an unbelievable BRILLIANT Talent he was who also knew exactly how to handle his vocals to perfection!

So perfectly said.
It takes me back to his 25 Live world tour. This song started playing when he was not on stage and then he sings at the top of his lungs "Here I am", and I thought I was going to leave my body! I yelled, screamed, cried and laughed all at the same time. The excitement was overwhelming. This beautiful soul is on stage ready to perform for 2 hours plus. I was beyond excited.
George Michaels was extremely talented ! He was the number one selling artist in 1987 , I believe he sold over a 150 million albums !? His passing hit me like a brick wall !!
George started his London concert behind the curtains n came out when he sings “so here I am” to a massive standing ovation

It is to short but his voice is so soothing it's like velvet I always close my eyes and just as I'm there it stops but so beautiful I love that man
The line. I’ve filled my pockets but emptied out my soul refers to his career at that time. He made bundles of money but it wasn’t the direction he wanted his music to go in. This led to his confrontation in the courts with Sony to break away from his contract and be free to go in the direction he really wanted to go.

Ty, this is the reprise song to Waiting For That Day, which you reacted to 3 years ago...maybe a refresh is due. The words are incredible and pretty much sum up of how he felt about his overwhelming fame. He was so lonely 😢

Have always loved this song, really wish it was longer. It’s so cool that you mentioned Shipwreck Island. Growing up in Pensacola I’ve been to Shipwreck quite a lot back in the 90’s. Love that place.

Short but oh so sweet, it sits at the end of the album Listen Without Prejudice but is integral to the album as much as Freedom or Praying For Time. Great track.

I have followed you for years and disagree with a whole bunch of stuff that you say. But I also agree with a bunch of shit that you say. And I kind of love that. It’s been lost in these last 5 to 10 years. I love that I disagree with some of my closest friends. Anyhow, we are in now times. So I saw this thumbnail, and I was worried that you were going to be not going to be cool. It is one of my favorite songs of all time (it’s not really even a song.) And given the the times of polarization, I saw the thumbnail and thought you were just gonna clown him throughout. But I think I’m wrong. I hope I’m wrong. Edit: this is one of the best albums of all time. Just slept on so much.
