It's December 2023. I'm old enough to have watched The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show and fall in love with them. All through the decades, their music has been with me. But today, listening to these songs and remembering... Somehow I feel I'm coming full circle. It's mysterious and magical and full of emotion. Life is strange. Thank you George.

Isn't a Pity, Georges profound words about the pain that grew amongst the four Beatles, a band that should have been able to care for each other(all you need is love?!) and last the test of time together. In my opinion, for what it's worth, this is the best album by an individual Beatle. Wish you were here George to read this!

'Wah wah' was his shot at the band too- "you're giving me your wah wah" I think George-as much as he loved them had just had it with John and Paul's prima donna shite by the recording sessions for Let it be- actually being the 1st to quit(but coming back thank God) and seeing his smile on the rooftop performance was pure joy of playing with these incredible players. And even though he felt John gave him little due him he ends up recording with John (and later Ringo). He was an even more complex man than John and was a sharp quick wit in his own right. I've seen a slew of bootleg videos of throw away takes from a number of sessions from magical mystery tour on and when the 3 would lay down harmony overdubs it was - surprise ,,, George that was assigning parts with John constantly saying he couldn't pick out his part-so much for the vaunted Paul pushing him around! Thats talent on another level when you think about the complexity of their harmonies-anr it was just the 3 voices-ringo didn't figure in on most harmony parts. My favorite Beatle was always John until this album and I realized how much this man had in him. Think of all his albums that you could listen to all the songs- Paul and John,,,not so much in my estimation. But that's just my 'wah wah! RIP georgie boy

The music Boomers listened to. I always fought for unions, the working class and felt guided by the Beatles and their message that they were telling us in these incredible songs. We were very blessed to have had the Beatles sending their spiritual message of Peace and Love towards other human beings. I can speak for myself, think for myself and felt inspired having the Beatles putting out great works. I saw George play in Chicago Stadium during his Dark Horse tour. Um dos melhores discos de TDS os tempos. Sem igual. George, maravilhoso. O cara ė demais.
I used to get irritated when I heard remixed albums. My thoughts were: "This is what they created, so leave it alone!". Then I realized that before the 1970's, they didn't have audio compressors, they barely had EQs, and the Sgt Pepper's album was recorded on a 4 track recorder. Now when I hear remixes against the original mixes, I hear the clarity and fullness that the artists from the sixties and early 70's wished they could have gotten. The Beatles and George Martin pulled every trick in the book to get the sounds they got because of the lack of equipment that we have today (aside from the fact they had some really good microphones). It's amazing that you can get comparable sound quality from a $300 computer that used to take hundreds of thousands of dollars to create. Some of the worst sounding audio recordings I've ever heard, came from Motown's Hitsville studios (Heatwave by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, for example). However, as my audio engineering book stated, a crappy recording of a hit song is still a hit song.

This album caught me from the beginning. My sweet lord as single, the initial attraction. Then hearing the B-side Isn´t it a pity (more than 7 minutes on a single). Beautiful songs which show the full genius of George. Greetings from Germany.
Blessed are we that were nurtured by these people.
Harrison, the soft spoken beatle with that seriously spiritual vibe which made him form a deep kinship with lennon. He created this beautiful album of his journey to a higher plane. Besides being a serious exceptional guitarist he was a brilliant speaker of truth, love, and a search of purpose. This album is the masterful creation of that hearts desire to find his moment where his music really mattered. A beautiful legacy in a lifetime of hard work, this is my favorite album of harrison, its brutally honest, hauntingly truthful, and above contained all the answers a spiritual man is searching for. For me, in my grief to find myself after hunan tragedy, it offeres me well needed peace. Thank you george for this amazing album. Xx Flynn Taylor

Companheiro, caro amigo, George nunca vai morrer. Só basta ouvi-lo, putz o cara e demais.
Born in the 1960s , THANKYOU So Much For Your Music George Harrison. 💕
I have this recording! I got it at a consignment shop for a dollar. It's very good! It contains two CDs and a booklet packaged in a pretty box.

When the Beatles broke up everyone was sad but to me now we had four talents releasong material onstead of one gruop and albums like this are the end result maybe hreak ups arent yragic but rewarding on a whole new level RIP George and yhank i for one of the best albums ever to grace a turntable😂❤❤
Música para soñar con un mundo mejor ❤️🩹

Hello George. Reaching out to send some love ❤ from me to you across the universe...
Of course. Beautiful George. Best solo work after the Fabs. The “quiet “ one made the best solo record after the boys broke up. Music “experts” can dispute it but go on. Just listen. Peace always.
I've kinda been avoiding this particular album for no reason... I love George and R.I.P.
68 plus. Still my favorite album.
Мой любимый "Битл". Светлый был человек, светил и грел до донца дней. Спи спокойно солнышко...
Awesome!!! Old beautiful memories.....
This will always be the best solo album by any of the Fab Four
Knew george personally, great guy. He and my wife spent a lot of time together ;)

M A S T E R P I E C E ❤
this was very first album I bought in spring of 2003, maybe 04, living in "lil Ireland" woodland, Bx, (trying like hell to be a classroom teacher) and Fordham's NPR broadcast would play the BEST music every morning while I was getting ready for nyc classrooms 🤪. then this tune rolls on... bought it in record store down in village later that day. ❤

George was the mastermind in the band, it's obvious in his music that all the dynamics came from him compared to both john and paul in everything they done since.

I do not know about that. I beg to differ. John was the main genius/mastermind but he allowed Paul and George's genius to shine as well and call shots.

Imagine was equal. We never got to see Johns true solo potential he took 5yrs off and was taken from us right as he resurrected his career. To me nothing Paul did came close I liked the years from 1970-77 and l love going to see him play every few years. R.I.P. John and George thank you for the gifts you left us with

George definitely followed his beautiful heart......lovely to hear this, thank you
The beauty of the spirit in the music of George Harrison can be compared to the one of his good mate Tom Petty.. If you are an (old ;) guitar beginner, then you can probably better perceive the pure sense of musicality in both of them: it's all sooo music-friendly and simply built, but beautiful in the sound and harmony. There's actually bright Light in it. Always thanking them for their songs, Om Shanti to everybody.
