George wrote many of these songs, while with the Beatles, John and Paul wanted most of the songs on their albums to be Lennon/McCartney

Por supuesto, fue su mejor disco, pero lamentablemente fue el único gran álbum que hizo como solista (además del disco del concierto para Bangladesh). Ese fue su primer disco en solitario. Lo trágico es que, a pesar de haber podido expresar todo su potencial creativo en ese primer álbum para liberarse de la frustración de sentir que John y Paul acaparaban todo y no le permitían desarrollar su potencial completo, cuando su sueño se hizo realidad, solo ese primer disco alivió su frustración. Luego se hizo evidente que extrañaba a los otros tres Beatles para seguir una visión creativa más coherente. Como dice el dicho, "En la unión está la fuerza". No fui al concierto de Bangladesh, pero sí estuve en su concierto siguiente en el Madison Square Garden en 1974, y fue el concierto más aburrido que he visto en mi vida, aparte del concierto de Eric Clapton en esos días que fuera igual de super aburrido. Era como si George ni Clapton no lograran adaptarse a los años 70 en el escenario del concierto, nada parecido a un concierto de Led Zeppelin o The Who. Solo los Rolling Stones lograron cruzar esa barrera del tiempo..
