This (Vox Balaenae) is Crumb's piece I performed most often. So love the quotes and the gorgeous ending. He was so influential when I was in college.

I believe that's in the detailed instructions Crumb gives the musicians (an attempt to make the piece more ritualistic and/or remove some humanity?)
