Electors are chosen by our representatives. We elect our representatives in smaller elections. Only 35% of Americans vote in smaller elections. Meaning that only 35% of Americans vote for our government because most of them don’t understand how our government works.

Is Biden really that bad? He is wise. He is real. His experience is second nature. He has a backup plan with Kamala Harris. He knows how to move legislation forward even with the mess he has to deal with. He doesn't give up. He doesn't care to be a movie star. Most people have a hard time expressing themselves completely no matter their age, imagine with a stutter. Imagine trying to get some information out quickly when there is so much of it in your head. Not everyone practices their speeches in front of a mirror. But some people just get the job done. Biden was my least favorite choice, followed by Kamala. Most of my friends are willing to say they have been pleasantly surprised, as have I, by both because we look at substance. Look who Biden appointed to the Supreme Court. Look who Biden placed as Secretary of Transportation. Look at his choice for Vice President. I am dismayed at the American public and media that is over the top concerned with appearance. Let's list the legislation that passed under Biden's watch. Let's talk about that.

Democrats had majorities in the House, Senate, and the Presidency for 2 years after Biden was elected. They accomplished NOTHING. What makes you think they'll get any of what you mentioned done if by some miracle if Biden is reelected? Especially since the dems won't retake the house, and will lose their majority in the senate. Oh, and secondary education is already free. You probably mean college?

Unfortunately Biden is in favor of none of those things, and this reform you speak of will never willingly happen in the DNC. The leadership hates all that stuff you just mentioned. We had the option to have a president who actually wanted that stuff in both 2016 and 2020 with Bernie, and yet the party picked Hillary and Biden. Part of the blame lies with the democrats for not actually being in favor of this stuff.

Trump has had a few strokes himself, had one in office when he was rushed to the hospital for his "routine exam" and couldn't use his one arm for a while, and he face was frozen on one side for a while. Perhaps should have mentioned that. The Daily Show more concerned in helping Trump get elected.

That is all the DNC has been doing. Funny fact is is due to the DNC you hate him so much. He starts, then just does what he usually does and goes off script. he hasn't got the discipline to read something for more than a couple of seconds. He can't keep on track about anything. Read a transcript of one of his speeches and you would think that you smoked a bowl and watched Alice in Wonderland. It makes about as much sense.

@@Gatorade151 Yes, if the donors are publicly stating that they won't give money to him, then he's pretty much done. If he was getting a bunch of small money donations from voters he might be able to survive that, but the voters never wanted him. There were just enough that didn't want Trump for him to win.

Thats when we shouldve pushed to get someone else in office besides him, he was the WORST candidate. In the General against Trump it makes sense to vote against Trump for Biden, but in the primaries? It makes zero sense. Anyone else wouldve been better, and now we have to deal with this issue of trying to find a replacement last second.

For ALL the noise we hear about people asking or suggesting President Biden not run for reelection, we NEVER hear anyone say who they honestly believe Dems could replace him with that could realistically WIN and protect our democracy. I haven't heard ONE name that has nationwide name recognition, a known record of success, the money, the charisma to sway voters this late in the campaign, and support of the Democratic party. Not one name that has all of that.

IQ45 doesn't want to pick a VP. I think maybe because his campaign understands that this race is more about VP than POTUS. And they know as soon as they do, there will be at VP debate scheduled and Kamala will mop the floor with whoever they put in front of her. This is what we need to be focused on and what needs to be covered everywhere

But he's a terrible candidate, why not try to get someone better in the primaries? Now we're in a situation where Biden is extremely unpopular, dealing with mental decline, and is unfortunately LOSING to trump right now in basically every poll. Any generic democrat would have been doing better against Trump right now. Dean Philips and Marianne Williamson were both options over Biden. Both of them would be doing better vs Trump, and we also wouldnt have to worry about their age or mental situation. I mean if Biden is the nominee, thats who we got, but I seriously dont understand why people voted for him at all in the primary when there were better options.
