Intellectual, philosopher, social-critic, forward-thinker, visionary (mind you, these are all terms I have seen/read people describe him as on various clips of him). I doubt he'd appreciate any of these brands we ascribe him to. He probably would feel them to be too narrow, too limiting.... He kinda defies defintion.... He's .. beyond that.

George Carlin diet at 71 years old. He had a history of cardiovascular problems spanning three decades. These included three heart attacks (in 1978, 1982, and 1991), an arrhythmia requiring an ablation procedure in 2003, and a significant episode of heart failure in late 2005. He twice underwent angioplasty. In late 2004, he entered a drug rehabilitation facility for treatment of addictions to alcohol and Vicodin. Carlin died on June 22, 2008 at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, of heart failure at age 71.His death occurred one week after his last performance at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In accordance with his wishes his body was cremated, and the ashes were scattered in front of various nightclubs he played in New York City and over Spofford Lake, in Chesterfield, New Hampshire, where he attended summer camp as an adolescent. I wouldn't argue it relates to adults as well. Never forget one of George's other bits, "The longer you live, the more you look around, the more you realize, *something is FUCKED up*. Something is *WRONG* here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption..." Among many other similar and loveable bits he did, the world is to fucked up not to acknowledge it these days and it either messes with you or you get over it and stop giving a shit (in which case you don't need to daydream anymore, the world is your oyster, and all the entertainment you need). The only other way to live in this world without it either changing you or breaking you is to become blissfully ignorant and unaware of the reality of things and how it only gets worse with time.

@@hankthetank8039 couldn't have said this better myself. When you were alive as a kid you saw the world through those rose colored lenses that hid the truth directly underneath your nose, the adults of the past may have said that the world is a messed up place, but the fact remained that that was not the world that you in particular were living in. Not yet at least. You had to experience the injustices first hand to be truly sure. between the false promises and the plastic politicians. The war crimes and the conspiring military cover ups. The world has been fucked up for as long as this earth can remember, and everyone is realizing that at many different stages of their life, and by the the time you speak up that something isn't right, they'll have already written you off as naive for your misknowledge. If by some miracle the reciever of your revelation hears you and decided to help to make that change, only then will you have found the chance to begin making things right. Everything this world is built upon is run by ordinary people, working ordinary jobs, if these ordinary people who work together are able to create towering buildings and marvels of machinery that shun mother nature. Then just imagine what those same ordinary people could do when they decide to no longer work a job created out of necessity and instead decide to devote their efforts to toppling those tyranical tool bags who seem to hold all of the money and all of the power. How's that for an idea?

I will say that most people become famous in their late teens or early 20s and one or both of their parents gave them a early start like 5 years old. Tiger Woods, the William sisters, Michael Jackson, Shirley Temple, another interesting fact is most professional singers got their start by singing in a church. Without parent's involvement, most people would start to late, 18 and your just starting to learn your craft and the odds are against you. I can bet you that in the past before the internet that over 90% of any professional guitar player one or both of their parents is a musician. I like to tell you how many times I heard a guitar player say I didn't start playing guitar until I was 15 and years later they add that they started playing piano at 5. There is a very young girl on YT, her channel is Ellenplaysbass and her father is right there helping her. You can tell she loves what she is doing and I agree it should be up to her. If I had a child whatever they wanted to do I would help them. I would never force them.

These included three heart attacks (in 1978, 1982, and 1991), an arrhythmia requiring an ablation procedure in 2003, and a significant episode of heart failure in late 2005. He twice underwent angioplasty.[67] On June 22, 2008, he died of heart failure at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 71.[68][69] His death occurred one week after his last performance at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated and his ashes were scattered in front of various nightclubs he had played in New York City and over Spofford Lake in Chesterfield, New Hampshire, where he had fond memories of attending summer camp as an adolescent.[70]" Wikipedia
