A lot of tourists see Atlantis as the "Disney world" of the Bahamas. That mega resort look and feel get's a lot of cliche tourists, but some tourists find their way to the other islands to get away from the typical commercial mega resorts found in New Providence/Nassau. -And yes, we get tourists that get mad and complain to us when it rains.

I was thinking about starting up a learning channel as well. Pitching ideas off the wall here, but my idea was a channel that would explore the relations between two groups of people throughout history. Basically, I would do videos on the historic relations between the Aboriginals of Australia and the Indonesians, or the relationship between the tribes of Japan and the tribes of Korea and China, or the relationship between France and England throughout history. Just throwing shit at a wall here and seeing what sticks. Does anyone think they'd be interested in such a channel idea? I ask because Geography Now is a recent "learning" channel, and I love it, so I thought I could go into more detail about the conflicts of groups that form the nations today.

Andros, Bahamas, also, ironically, was the place where many Greek-Bahamians first went to work on the sponge-diving boats. I do know there's a connection - Our Andros was named after the Greek one, but it's been a long time since I've thought about that history.

Great video! Being from The Bahamas I am super happy to see my country being represented - however would have loved if you looked into pronunciation before making the video the way you said Bahamian (you said ba- haa -mean sounds more like bahAmian (really pronounce that middle a )) was incorrect and thats pretty important also the names of islands can be pretty confusing but never hurts to ask for help! All in all though great video glad to see you representing the great 242

This is really a great starter get to know a country. For those living in the country of course you know more information and pronunciations. He is quite good to have so much great information. I really love this format. Children can learn much from this and even though it is fast paced it moves in such a way that retention is good. Keep up the good work . We need more of this. Political correctness need not be main point as the truth is most important. Conveyance of the information is most important. Thank you for your contribution to The Bahamas. We could use this to help our own know more abut their country.
