I’m from Perth Australia and I have visited Indonesia more than 50 times ( yes it helps only being about a 3.5 hour flight away ). It depends on what sort of experience you want when you eventually do travel there, is it for the culture, the food, the outdoors environment ? Maybe all of the above. It is a fantastic country with wonderful people and relatively inexpensive to vacation in. Bali is great, but make sure you visit the other provinces too. 😊

Yeah. Indonesia even have Jewish monument (gasp!!). Complete with huge jewish candle shape tower thingy in the open. Magically doesnt burned down even to this day, dont worry. Its on Sumatra, still the same island with the ultra muslims of sharia user, Aceh. Must be weird for European if we looking at the world situation right now. Its kinda weird concept for western people to digest. A person with certain skin tone must adhere to certain stereotype. But Indonesian people already getting mixed, from centuries. Its all goes back to transmigration policies from the old colonization times. The tribes and races are getting transported to various island for generation and everything is getting muddled. Even the ancient kingdoms have political marriages with several ancient Chinese and ancient Tamil Dynasties. All race and tribes are trading in this maritime bottle neck area since millennia. Thats why Indonesia is like, "Wooo hoooo!!! we got East mongoloid race, with hindu culture sanskrit name, while being a muslim." Some people will start shouting "Imperialism" to this culture mixing thingy. But if Indonesia is an Imperialist, then the national language would have been Javanese and would had an ancient Java kingdom dynasty on the top, while re-educate everything else into Java cultures. But, no. Its instead being "Indonesia". A completely new name taken from Latin, using bazaar common tongue language from Riau island area. The independence idea comes from Sumatran people, and apparently welcomed by multiple people in the other island. The independence war getting supported by multiple kingdoms from all islands, from far west Aceh to the far east Papua. Javanese maybe the largest ethnicity, but the history simply grows this diplomatic sense to everyone here. That's why we are good at diplomacy. Large political influence in ASEAN, neutrality in west/east global geopolitics, and historically gaining both side world superpower helping in the independence war. Indonesian people do love smiling, and smiles is always be found in all diplomacy.

Those 6 religions are the Indonesian official religion, as matter of fact, since population of Indonesian is the 4th in the world, Christian population in Indonesia is actually larger than the whole population of Malaysia, or Singapore, or Brunei (for example) ... so, yeah basically Indonesia is very diversed Thank you so much Shea for ure beautiful love and support to Indonesia ❤️❤️❤️
