This video is like taking sleeping pills through my ears. I have not been able to sleep for a very long time. I found this video, put headphones on, put it on full screen as I watch videos through my 50" tv. I was out and slept for 10 hours without waking up. I finally am feeling great again as far as getting sleep. Thank you so much for this beautiful video. The UK is beautiful. I never been there, most likely never will as my age and poor health. Again thank you so much. I posted this on my social media.

Ivanhoe ॐ I highly doubt she keeps it on throughout the night. It’s quite insulting to suggest something as obvious as that could be costing her sleep, tbh. (My aunt is in a similar situation, with a compromised immune system, and her insomnia is a huge source of stress in her household. Should I tell her to just watch less TV? Listen to fewer audiobooks? As if she hasn’t been prescribed chemo drugs, the NHS has no waiting lists. My heart truly goes out to you, Ranwolfalfa - having to sacrifice your pension to pay medical bills isn’t something you should have to do.)

Going through (what feels like) hundreds of videos to finaly find one that is perfect for me and my 5 month old next to me. Gentle rain with no repetitive dripping Grey clouds. Gentle thunder. Just perfect. I can now not only go to sleep but imagine what it must feel, look and sound like in England. (I'm from Cape Town)

There is something in our DNA that finds pleasure here.....Thanks for finding that special button!

This reminds me of my first visit to Glastonbury , i sat in the gardens at Chalice Well and drank the water , the peace and calmness there was just so beautiful , the place has something magical about it , it just leaves you so happy and calm , there's a definite vibe coming from this place .

So many wonderful memories of Glastonbury Tor....I must revisit.l hear they EVEN have a Morrison's supermarket there now.Where DID all the flowers go....I didn't get any.....

I miss the Shire so much. Reminds me of better times.

I wish I could be there, I’d lay outside with some cover and just gaze for hours and nap, omgosh it would be the most peaceful thing in the world. The sound is soul soothing, it instantly calms the chaos inside, I love it. The only thing to make it better would be to be there in person! Thank you for this post!

Hey Steve 😊 Definitely worth a visit! If Glastonbury is calling you, you’ll know! We even collect water from a spring at the base of the Tor too. We don’t live here all year round as we’re in Australia for a few months of the year but it’s always so nice to come back to. ✌️🍃💫

We saw the Tor from a distance while driving to London from the South to catch our flight back to the States. The closer we got the more captivated we were and decide to stop in the town and hike up. We knew nothing about history but it was calling for us to come to see. It wasn't until years later I stumbled upon a photo of the Tor in a history book and read the lore connected to it. There's a goddess inside the mound! I am soo glad we stopped. Amazing place!

King Arthur was buried at Glastonbury Abbey. Legend has it that the abbey was founded by Joseph of Arimathea. They say that the white thorn or Hawthorne trees grow around the Abbey. Love this one ❤️

Andrew, Europe has many beautiful places and England is barely one of them. I would suggest to you Sweden or Norway, as the weather is similar and nature is much more impressive.

CroCho But you must admit, it is dark and cold a large portion of the year. In Florida, Texas, and Vanuatu, you don’t have to shovel sunshine away to find your car...or have electrics to keep your engine from freezing😱😜

@@cfrandre8319 Yes, but there is some beauty in that as well. And it is well compensated by amazing nature. Just check how those fjords in Norway or lakes in Sweden look. And the dark and coldness are, depending on the exact location, 3-5 months of the year, rewarded by beautiful summer and spring.

I love rainy days.....as the saying goes, "there's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing." (Typhoons, hurricanes and tornadoes excepted 🙄).

My stepsister and I always watch this with our great-uncle, he writes film reviews for Highlights. We all agree that this is freakin' amazing, perhaps the best gentle rain video on the KZread. The picture too... so freakin' good. Can't wait to see more UwU
