M U S A R A N A yeah, you're supposed to clean it with a non rusting liquid, like alcohol, acetone, or gasoline. NEVER wash your bearings with water! It causes rusting and erodes the balls!

You got something that look like a ninja star, spins like a ninja star and definitely wants to be a ninja star. So yes, seeing this sharpened would be totally of use and damn awesome :)

in my skating experience i found that ceramic bearings last longer than metal

For me, the bones spead cream (I have that exact bottle) just slows it down, made it spin about 1/3rd the time than without it.

Just got my first fidget spinner..not seeing the big deal but then again I fidget quite a bit and when I'm board I'll just spin things on pens or spin coins just to do something. These though..they interest me if for no other reason than I like the design of Genji's Shuriken and I could make a mold with these to make a cosplay shuriken for looks

You can also use gun oil, which actually did better than the skateboard lubricant that i have

i work on skateboard never use water to clean a bearing use gas or acitone to clean bearings. water will causing rusting and siez the bearing. also you can buy speed cream at your local skate shop

Thanks for the heads up! I figured since I was replacing the oil it would force out the moisture.

Not a huge fidget spinner fan but these ninja stars are cool looking. Also I don't think you really need to ask if they need to be sharpened, the answer is yes.

hey man I just had a great idea for something I think you would be able to make so you know that grenade launcher in the black ops 2 that had rotating barrels for the grenades but imagine something based on that idea for spray paint here's what I mean you load the rotating barrels with different colors and types of spray paint and there is a mechanism hooked to what you could call the trigger that when your spray painting you could just hit a small button on the side and it switches to the can of the color or the type you want tbh this may be a stupid idea but its just something I randomly thought of and if there's anyone that can make it its you

love speed cream for my Rollerblade bearings

The best way I found to clean the bearings was to soak them in WD40 for a couple of minutes then clean and blow of the excess out of the bearings. Then you can soak them in acetone which will dissolve any remaining residue of WD40. I was able to get mine spinning upto a minute using normal steel 608 bearings.

Nishant Agarwal WD40 was originaly manufactured to clean and lubracate missles for the army its main use being to clean all the small working parts

using soap and water isint really a good idea because the metal will oxidize with the oxygen in the air and the soap because you cant really clean an inside of a Bering unless you use a heat gun/hair dryer.

Skate bearings were built to handle the weight of you body, so other bearings should work even better

Well to be honest I didnt pay anything I had an old pair but they do end up being cheeper than skateboard berrings and the best berrings people use are ceramic they glide better
