Most of the things these restorers restore, are older than todays stuff. That is probably why there aren't too many people who do this. Yes, I would try to restore this stuff and use it.

He should have use glass bead and coconut on smaller stuff - then powder coat instead of just paint.

Something tells me that the machine was meant for dried corn still on the cob to be shucked and not dried whole corn turned into powder. It was still a nice job, I just think it was used for the wrong purpose.

That is a very useful machine you can feed your chickens and also make cornmeal for baking and so many other things!

I didn't like bc he left too much rust on the metal. That paint will wear off the inside in no time.

You do good work but your welding needs to be improved you have to weld l9ng straight lines.

I was watching the casting cleaning, on inside would been able to try a wire cup on a extension to get the inside of the cast tube? Or possibly a sand blast hopper gun. Dry river sand works pretty good. Looks good what you did.

How come a lot of restorers don't run a bead when arc welding? It seems like they just "spot Weld" where there should be beads.
