Honestly, I was so very glad to see Boyle connecting with someone on that level

It's criminal that we didn't see any more of Genevieve in the later seasons, she was perfect with Boyle

I wish we got more of Genevieve in the series. Though I am grateful that they stayed together despite her lack of screen time and didn’t have the “offscreen breakup” cliche.

So together, their 5-6 dogs sleep on their bed and Genieve and Charles sleep on the floor.

This is unrelated but I hate how dismissive Jake is of Charles’ interests. It’s one of the things that bothers me when rewatching the show, like how the squad treats Hitchcock and Scully the same when Scully is a human Teddy Bear and Hitchcock is just kinda gross.

I mean. It's a hard comedy. A LOT of it is extremely problematic if you think about it past the surface. I enjoy it. But if I'm in a contemplative mood, then it can be disturbing in various ways at times with how the surface vibes clash with the reality--same with reality shows and such. There's a hollowness that collapses if you lean on it or look inside.
