ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

"Nikolaj is having such a rich childhood" is one of my favorite quick gags in the series. That poor, probably traumatized kid XD.

One's the president and the other a VP. The ultimate power ballot.
Love the different kinds of parent relationships in this series. Terry, manly man who loves his biological kids despite his abusive father. Boyle, his adopted kid, treats him as his flesh and blood whilst remaining aware of adoption. Holt, the surrogate father figure. Roger and Jake, who eventually broke their cycle of bad parenting. Rosa's parents, traditional who eventually have to come to terms about how different their daughter is from them. Amy, the only girl in the family who had to fight for parental approval. Masterpieces.
Boyle's stern "I love you" to Nikolaj as a reprimand is the parenting I expected from him.
As a twin, my dad can definitely relate to the "wanting to switch them without telling everyone hehe"

Oh boy... If I ever have twins I will have to fight myself not to do that!
Love how Captain Holt doesn’t dumb his vernacular down for the child 13:22 but talks to him as if any other person regardless of him being an “non-adult”
1:41 I like the way Rosa said to Terry that he is the best dad she knows😊.
terry was an amazing parent

interesting how it doesnt matter what job you have, when you have to babysit your kids bc of an illness, a doctor‘s visit, or a school half day, suddenly you need to stare at your child drawing, watching tv, and going to the bathroom. 😂

Nikolaj using the "I love you" after greeting Jake and Gintash is the true Boyle family trait.
The fact that the editor just skip the part of boyle comparing terry to ellen degeneres made it even funnier.
I have zero intention of having kids but hearing that little “somebody at the door!” Had me seriously debating changing my mind for a sec.
Terry saying he can recited “Moana” from memory I’m sure is something my dad can relate to, except it would be “The Little Mermaid” or “Pokémon” in my case.😅
@dr.braxygilkeycruises1460

When Moana first came out, my granddaughter was around 4 or 5 years old. She mentioned how much she loved it and would sing songs from it over the phone. I knew she was coming to stay for the weekend on a Friday, so the Sunday before, I got the Moana Soundtrack and learned every song by Friday. When we got in the car, I put it on and *she was so happy that I knew all the words!* The things we do for our kids/grandkids are limitless. 🤗
The only thing missing is Amy struggling to put Mac to sleep. That's iconic to every parenting life ever.
"Niko.......I love you😐" "I'm sorry Poppa" What??😂😂😂
"Moo Moo" was an absolutely amazing episode.
Like to imagine that Terry dies protecting his president daughters, or doesn't die at all
Yeah, my parents always tell me about that time a psychologically unstable, ex covert-agent with severe head trauma (and probably high af) was hiding inside my closet.

“Every parent can relate to” Pimento in Nikolaj’s closet:
5:04 I forgot that line, based Jake FTW
"They have adorable chubby cheeks"🤣👮♂
Nikolaj has been through some real stuff that should mean he would sleep through just about anything. If a kid with THAT back story woke me up telling me there's something in his closet, I'm calling in the national guard hahahahaha

I think it has less to do with not liking it and more that he feels that a man his age should know something more mature by heart over a fun family movie

Where is Charles crying at the gender review of Jake's baby , it was funny but always touching that he was all in about his son and that maybe Niko could play with Mack
I kind of hope none of the scenes involving Charles and Nikolaj are never relatable to parents 😂
