Hi there, I was about to use this video for my class, but I found a mistake. Your base pair colours don't match up properly when the bases are being explained. This may not be too hard for you to fix. A always binds to T, G always binds to C (except when a mutation is formed)

Science Explained unfortunately, they are still not right yet in the animation. I do hope you can create the consistency required. It is in the use of colours in the unlabelled animation (Blue is paired with green and pink instead of always with only green for example) and in your letter code where G is paired incorrectly with T. It is important that science facts like these are communicated in such a way as to remove the possibility of misconceptions forming. You have put a lot of effort into making it so it would be great if people can use it to learn correctly. Hope that helps.

I think it's because videos are polished down whilst lectures and teaching is teachers saying the information in their own words. Teachers are more descriptive but these videos are straight to point. It's the basics.

Learnt more in a two minute video than I did in a whole terms worth of science classes! Thank you so much, very much appreciated

The ease of explaining and understanding I have gotten from this video in one shot is amazing

That was ridiculously concise and yet still taught a lot of good, foundational information for understanding biology. Great stuff!

I really like the video! I used it to make my explanation of chromosomes to my 7 year old less abstract! However, I noticed that the base pairs are not matched up correctly, A always pairs with T, and C always pairs with G (unless there's a mutation). At 1:33. The order of the bases in the DNA and sequencing of genes are the same thing. It confused me for a bit until i realized this.
