That's Good but few point from my side , 1.we are actually making the Test script from the Actual output but we should create as per the requirement , even before the development . 2. And usually we write the manual test cases first till Dev team develops, get them approved and code and then finish the sprint and then deploy not the vice versa. 3 For reverse engineering . In Selenium C# spec flow- BDD you can directly generate the code from the written code, you don't have to paly and record it , and that can be done even before development.

Very nice! Would this not be recommended with cucumber framework since the test steps are written in the feature file beforehand or am I wrong with that logic?
