Nice shop and tools , neat project, seem to remember building one from balsa many years ago, it survived maiden , but once fully painted met its fate do to gravity and dumb thumbs .... while I have four , 3d printers , I have had little luck printing a working plane.... seems some part just fails to properly print , then I am getting old and figure the fault lies with my misinterpretation of some printing variable.... thanks for sharing your build .

Incredible work as usual. Thanks a lot to show us details as bond type (pu foam and other...) : we learn many things. Bravo maestro PS: only problem : moving head pilot seems to say ' please can't fly' 😅

Love your work Marko, please keep making videos and building! Don't take my comment as a negative, just a though. Love your take on the cockpit and pilot but to be honest the pilot's proportions is a little weird for me. I realize the plane never materialized so it's all up to our imaginations but I do think going on Gee Bee trends you would only see half the pilot's head in the cockpit window, they are very small planes. Anyways, just a thought, not criticizing at all. Have a great day!

You are completely right. My pilot is 1/5 scale, but 1/3 would be needed. Why smaller? Still the weight. The pilot is in the tail of the plane and I don't want to add weight there at all.

@@markoroolaid love the project. Actually bought my first 3D printer(Bambu) recently to try exactly this. Printing the shell and combining it with composites. To hopefully eventually build myself a 8kg turbine jet. Believe these methods are going to be the future, love it.

Is't the geometry of the rudder a slight issue? With the control horns at the servo not being the same length as the ones on the rodder, still being connected at both sides??

  • @markoroolaid

Everything is thought out and everything works. But it's good that you paid attention to it. The geometry must be correct, otherwise it will hang
