the ending is pretty fucking simple if you've followed the gears trilogy. Her grandmother was the Locust queen. Think about why Reyna was the only one captured like this... so she could become the new locust queen but since all that shit went to hell as you just saw. I'm pretty sure Kait is the next target.

Jamie Lee This is going with the suggestion at the end of Gears 4 that Kait is the granddaughter of the locust queen. In the books Myrah had contact with only one other human being (that we know of) and that is Adam Fenix, making him the most likely candidate to father any human children she had. If Adam and Myrah had Reyna that would make Reyna and Marcus Fenix half-siblings, making Kait and JD half-cousins :)

THIS one however...just looks unimpressive. I hate bosses that are only HALF shown, and his design isn't really that impressive.

What i love from GOW 4 is that they make the James the protagonist likeable just like Marcus. Many games that have a story about the son of the protagonist mostly is not like able.

I would have loved it if they let you play as Marcus when the Raven crashed and the Swarm approached from all sides. Marcus turns to Baird and Cole "just like old times, huh!" Baird "grubs... they will never learn." Cole "Ahhh yeah, the Cole train is back baby!!!" so many missed opportunities... "/

Gears of War 3 was my favourite and while the Coalition may have not exactly lived up to that in terms of gameplay, I don't think any other Gears game has nailed the level of emotion that was in that last scene. Just perfect, I realise everyone probably prefers the Dom stuff but the scene with Kait and Reyna was executed perfectly.

They certainly left it a bit obvious for a GoW5 now considering the Locus has evovled into the Swarm. We only seen a small amount of them Swarm and now they have to warn the world about the Locus's return as the Swarm assuming Jin doesn't F things up and try to hide or remain in constant denial that the Locus has returned.

RaTed R BeBop good luck. Tip for the swarmak is to shoot the fuck out of it with boomshots and torque bows. Drones and juries will wreck you. With pouncers stay in cover and just unload in them. If they jump on your cover and you get stunned, hopefully they'll try to pounce you and you can easily chainsaw it. Yeahhh you might as well do it in co-op I thought there would be an achievement for beating it on solo but there isn't. I am playing it again though on co-op

Adam Fenix and Queen Myrrah are the mother and father of Marcus. So that means Queen Myrrah is eliminated from being Kaities grandmother. It would have to be someone much older than Queen Myrrah. From Cortana turn Skynet style in Halo 5, and now to see someone in the family is related to Queen Myrrah.

My theory: Maybe somehow kait's mother could be the locust queen since her name is Reyna. And it sounds like queen in Spanish. And the fact how they kept her alive and how she's been keeping the necklace the whole time, does that mean that she's technically related to the locust or something like that? Just a theory

the boss looks like an upgraded version of corpser, swarmak = brumak upgraded basically. swarm must be related to locust in some ways

bman20808 They literally state multiple times throughout the game that they're Locust. Have you been paying attention at all?

That ending came out of fucking no where to me. Like its just so sudden after a line of dialogue. I was expecting a final battle but all in all I guess I'm happy it will continue.

I had to look this up because as much as I LOVE this series, im not buying a Xbone just to enjoy the story while it lasts and sink the rest into horde mode.
