JD deserves better. He lost his mom. His father rejects his actions, doesn't support him. He made a though choice in Settlement 02, and he truly hated what he did, enough for him to go AWOL and defect from his duties. He wanted to erase his past and do things right. He killed an entire Swarm Hive, got the necessary intel to re activate the Hammer of Dawn and saved most of the people in Settlement 02. Loses Lizzie, gets severely wounded, and suddenly everyone hates him. JD got heavily downplayed in this game, to the point his life doesn't matter and you can dispose of him in a QTE.

Well, the planet isn't in a stable condition either. Decades of war scarred the planet to the point of weather phenomenons like razorhail and windflares + Imulsion almost consuming the surface in an already lifeless world. Though the 25 years of peace did enable a recovery.

Gonna be honest campaign wasn’t the best gears campaign but in my opinion it was really good, it had emotion, epic moments, it had some sense of gritty and creepy vibes like the old gear like when u explored the hope facility, the ending was annoying as now we have to wait for the next one, but all in all a solid game.

Badmon LaneO no unfortunately I don’t know, I hope dels death is canon even though I like him I just think they have more stuff to do with JD, as he’s the next fenix they can like build him up even more, also it makes sense for jd to live because then Marcus and jd have both lost their brothers, and Marcus can help him through , and Marcus has already lost so much they can’t take away his son aswell

It's amazing how the words 'Cole Train' go together like they are meant to. Even though they normally wouldn't go together, but here it makes complete sense. From all that time ago in Gears 1, Cole Train 'still' just sounds normal and very cool.

It’s obvious from his video that Gears 5 has less visual detail in some areas, but imo that doesn’t detract anything from the game. The campaign is still fucking awesome and it feels like Gears, unlike 4. The characters are great, the lore is well presented, the gameplay is still top notch Gears.

I agree; she was a good final boss fight with that Tempest. But holy shit, that Kraken felt less like a boss fight (in a good way) and more like a life/death scenario; this entire act was one of the most stressful, immersive and emotional moments in the Gears series. Very memorable.

@asian dude i think they had the ideia to make a new trilogy , so they could answer old questions like Myrrah and at same time expanding the universe . Gears 4 was a introduction , gears 5 the development and gears 6 probably the climax and the conclusion . I dont like it too Kait as MC and the possibility to choose JD or Vel . If had the option of Kait sacrifice herself would make more sense

Played Gears 5 twice on Experienced difficulty. Am feeling like I may never play it again, but certianly never on Experienced; it brutalised me both times. (I also hate oll the hunting for components.) Got to be worth a shot on normal difficulty one time. However the trouble with Gears games for me is, on normal they are quite easy, on experienced they very hard. Very hard to the point I die so many times, it takes so long between story parts. Then I have lost the thread of the story, and only vaguley know what happened. P.S. Jack rocked.

I spoiled this ending before I bought the game. Still played the game though and loved it, there were scenes I didn’t spoil. However I’m not spoiling the ending with gears 6 I’m definitely keeping that a promise.

I'm sorry but i know that TC are trying after Epic left the franchise to them but putting that choice is stupid i mean in canon JD lived and Del dies

Carmine curse is back which sucks because i would of loved to see Lizzie kicking some more grub ass in the game,one of the few surviving main characters jack, dies in a blaze of glory and the ending doesn't seem to matter if you pick JD or Del. whats really going to piss people off is when Marcus dies to protect JD in gears 6, assuming JD living is canon.

It was back in Gears 4. Remember Gary? Of course no one remembers Gary because he doesn't even have any dialogue. His death was a blink and you'll miss it.

JD feels more normal in this scenarios than DEL
