I want a Gears of War 1 - 3 Collection! I keep holding out Xbox will reveal this at some point. We have Gears 1, 4 and 5 on PC. Kinda odd having rest of series not available unless 360 Emulation.

@hydin4805 microsoft is killing all its best franchises with bad launches. If gears 5 and halo had good launches with content and didn't have half a year or more with no unlockable skins and barely any maps these franchises would be doing well. But they forced all their players to leave early on. Halo is barely hanging on now that they fixed things but the damage was done

If they released a Gears of War Remastered Collection, then we would have all the games on PC but i admit the performance isn't bad using Xenia, the emulator got quite a upgrade in recent times.

Same. Im really hoping for GoW 1-3 collection on Steam as well. I liked the atmosphere even more than in Halo.

Miss how this franchise used to feel :(

See the issue is the first 3 games were set in a wartorn world on the brink of destruction it had that hopeless, inevitable feeling but with the new games it was in a time of peace so hopefully with 6 it'll make the full circle back to the dark gritty wartorn feeling were used to

There's an option to disable it in the config file because it apparently causes artifacts when upscaling.

Wow 100% GPU usage on a 4090 😅 So Xenia 4k is hard af to run? How did you disable the in-game forced effects like DoF and Motion blur that's awesome. One of my biggest gripes with the original!

You have to edit the patch config file and set them to false.

Its not bad that the emulator use 99% of the GPU the game is upscaled so i would be worried if the emulator uses only a small percentage of the GPU

On Xenia yes. you just connect a second controller and start the emulator, lauch the game, in the main menu pulse Y and the proflie 2 will appear

Man, Gears 1 looks so much better coming before this game. Less cartoony.
