And on a 970 at that. wow thats way more efficient than any xenia benchmarks from even just 1 or 2 years ago. and with the age of the 900 series, they might just become the gold standard for emulation after driver support falls off

Omg, Xenia is finally making some huge steps! When you say playable, you mean from start to finish? Like DOA 4 for example. I think it used to crash on the final boss battle. I don't care about minor glitches as long as it's possible to finish the whole game on the emulator.

I find that DOA4 still has graphical game glitches that can make some stages unplayable. Artifacting is still heavy in that game.

I haven't tested all the games until the end, but the ones I have tested have a good performance. DOA 4 I managed to finish it a few times without any problem.

how'd ya get "red dead redemption" to play ? mine is unplaybly laggy, which is weird coz i can get other AAA games to play but some just won't, is it the settings or my laptop not strong enough ?

well there's your answer. you use a laptop, emulators-generally speaking, needs much more powerful Hardware for perfect or playable conditions. red dead 1 is a technical marble on 7th gen hardware. same case for the last of us & god of war 3. so those need insanely expensive CPUs. as for being able to play AAA games, it's because those games are natively supported on desktop / laptop. optimization techniques are used specifically for the system in question. There are sort of workarounds on emulators like shaders compiling. but your mileage may vary on a per game basis... if you still want to use laptops, then the system 76 models should be decent enough. on desktop you're on your own. AMD ftw tho (don't forget to switch the OS if you don't want to use linux pop os)

Anyone gotten the E. A. game, *Fuse* running? Mine gets stuck on the _"This game saves automatically..."_ screen...

How did you find a copy of Bloodbath (cancelled game) playable? Was it any good?

@@AlexwpiGame The PC version looks better than the 360 version and you can hack it to run at 60 fps, also a lot of the games you listed in your video have a PC port (Bayonetta, Darksiders 1 & 2, Gears of War 1, The godfather 1 & 2, Gun, Zone of the Enders 2.....)

How do I find and use my profile and use it on horizon and velocity to edit games and saves? Cause I to play lost odyssey and wanna mod my save.

SSX? I have a Nividia GTX 1660 SUPER graphics card, and a I5-4590 CPU, the game loads and plays, but I get constant freezes during game play that last up to a minute or so. Is my CPU just not powerful enough, or are there settings in the Xenia Config file I can change to get the fluid smooth gameplay in this video?

Settings used SSX: Patch: 60fps = true / 720p resolution = true Xenia Canary: Vsync= false. I played the game for 3 stages, in the third it crashed, but I believe that if you insist you can play.

ssx crashes for me too randomly and i dont think anyone has found a workaround for it yet. i even looked all over the xenia discord server.

Dude which settings or parameters you're using to play Zone of The Enders ? While most games listed here work great with the last Canary build, ZoE is slow AF, with FPS barely passing 20, know that RDR and Gears 2 for example can go beyond 60 fps with ease

It almost seems like a glitch in the matrix that Sonic 06 not only emulates better than most of the games on this list but is fully completable at a locked 60fps. Unleashed would steal the show given the awesome framerates you can achieve but it's still more or less unplayable due to all the bugs.

Adorei seu vídeo, eu tenho o Xenia pra tentar jogar jogos dessa geração, que não pude ter, quando era a geração atual. Não tive meu xbox por muito tempo. O problema do Xenia, é a quantidade imensa de erros que o emulador apresenta. Todo jogo que eu joguei no Xenia até agora, apresentou erros bizarros em algum momento. O emulador fecha, crasha, reinicia o PC, trava. Tem de tudo. Atualmente, estou tentando zerar Gears of war 3, e rola um erro idiota. Quando enfrentamos os Armored Kantus, pela primeira vez, pra podermos pegar o submarino, eu simplesmente mato todos e o jogo não continua, não direciona pro próximo objetivo, que é justamente acionar o comando que irá inundar toda a câmara, para que se possa entrar no submarino e seguir adiante. Sei lá, cheio de errinho bizarro, ainda não achei uma saída pra este.

It's not difficult, my friend. You can extract the discs to use them as RGH (occupying less space on discs, as all the dumps are discarded). Or simply extract the ISO from the disc. Xenia can read both file types, default.xex (RGH) or the extracted ISO from the original disc.

@@AlexwpiGame Thanks! I remember ye olden days when there were a dozen cd cloning application ( Nero Burning Rom, clonecd, easy cd creator, etc ) to handle various copy protection technologies. I’m glad that Xbox discs are easy to rip.

@@majorgear1021 Indeed, it was a very nostalgic era. Sometimes I would spend the whole day downloading PS2 and Xbox 360 ISOs. Nowadays, things are much simpler. You can just buy a digital game, and as for music, you can simply open Spotify on your phone, and it's all there without having to worry about where to store CDs.

Amigo obrigado por se inscrever, para fazer rodar é o seguinte, baixe o jogo em formato RGH, ai ao em vez de abrir o jogo usando default.xex, abra por exemplo budokay3.xex, que ai vai rodar normalmente, é o mesmo esquema do metal gear collection

I just saw on another channel, it seems that the game is fully playable. The guy did a 2-hour gameplay with no visual issues and no crashes. I'm actually interested in the game now.

@@AlexwpiGame i heard a long time ago that there is only a glitch midgame where you need a save (findable online) to skip a softlock sequence .. but i'm not sure if it's fixed or still the same ... it was the only thing making it not fully playable

Okay, so I have been trying to build a library, but only a handful work… It is better to just stick with the actual hardware/console…. but same goes for RPCS3… though I feel there are more games that are playable on that emulator…

The godfather 2 plays well up until the point you get to New York then frames start dropping everywhere

My forzas refuse to work. Horizon 2 let’s me drive to the very first waypoint then crashes permanently, similar to Motorsport 4 after clicking start to play

@@Abel-Alvarez Ive tried CXBX reloaded but, Blinx 1 doesn't boot , and Blinx 2 doesn't really load propperly. While, having a tone of bugs. So, I wouldn't exactly call that playable. When, most of the stages don't load. Last I checked Xemu needs xbox files to run. An even than Blinx is hardly playable with my 360 copies I converted to Xbe.

Since Fable 3 is available for PC, I haven't tested it, but it's better to use the PC port as it has more features and doesn't suffer from bugs.

@@Its_a_Mr_Eh After a quick search, I found a video from some time ago in which a guy was playing, but several objects were not rendered, leaving the scenery 80% black. I don't think they have improved since they don't make an effort to improve games that are native to the PC, but if you want, you can test it on your PC with a more current build of the emulator to see if the gameplay has improved.

@@AlexwpiGame thnx! Im playing ninja gaiden 2 and its ok! On the other hand, Ace Combat 6 stills have issues only in the sea ( like full of triangles on the ocean)

If you have an Nvidia card it's fine, but if you have AMD you'll be getting Graphics device lost crashes every few minutes. The emulator devs are just too lazy to implement Vulkan or better yet a GUI for an app that has been around since 2015. Mind blowing.

where can i get the game bro? i search for forza motorsport 4, but i can't find it yet, i only get the forza horizon and forza horizon 2 only 😢
