    I'm glad that I came on this site. I was so frustrated with the little water that I couldn't see and my clothes didn't look like they were saturated! Now I see how the Deep Fill works.

    I just bought this exact washer 3 weeks ago and have ZERO COMPLAINTS. The deep fill button really helps if I feel I need more water. Agitator moves the clothes around just fine. The spin cycle isnt loud like some comments might declare but it does move the machine around if the clothes has piled up to one side which is normal with any brand washer I would assume. At the end of the wash the clothes are perfectly dry enough and ready to go in the washer. The precise fill is my favorite since it literally fills the machine up according to the amount and weight of the clothes. All my loads are washed with precise fill unless I feel like I need more water then you have the deep fill option. 👍

    If you feel you "need more water" over the "precise fill"... then it isnt a precise fill.

    So glad!!! I decided to watch this! My ge he washer kept putting just the BARE minimum amount of water in the tub, and it was getting on my nerves... So like the video says hold the deep fill button for three secs, it'll start filling up and when it's at the amount you want, press the button again. Right after, the washer should begin washing (again. I did it after I'd already start the cycle.) Best of luck ☺️

    You push it before or after you press start? I push it after I press start & it doesn't do anything, it just makes a error like noise. Also, does it do it on any cycle?

    The same thing here, I thought the washer was a piece of crap that was stingy with water but I learned I now have control over how much water I need. Tide pods were the worst cause they’d stick to my clothes cause the washer water never soaked all of the clothes, I shoulda known

    I'm so glad I saw this video. I bought mine when it was a year old and still under warranty for only $100! That incled the dryer also. I've had it for 6 months and it didn't come with instructions and I didn't want to bother with asking my friend about it. She couldn't stand it and bought her a new set. I have tried to wash anything since I've watched this video but I will be very soon now that I know what the buttons are for. I love them both. Good luck with all of your washers

    I can’t believe that i found this video after a YEAR of using this washer! I was so frustrated BUT i finally found the answer. I was only pressing once, NOW i know i have to press it a second time AND PRESS & HOLD for 3 seconds to make it FILL UP! Thank you! It worked! I should have read the instructions but i didn’t. Argh!

    Hi Elizabeth, Does the light beside the Deep Fill Option come on for you when you press and hold for 3 seconds? Mine is not and does not seem to add any extra water. This thing is really starting to make me UGLY!

    Hi, It is a GTW485BMMWS. I tried to activate the DeepFill option both prior to cylcle start and after. The led light will not come on and no extra water is being added....thanks...Also I pulled the power cord for a reset and get the same result.

    Thanks for getting back to us, Steve. If you press and hold the button for 3 seconds, you should get the maximum fill level. If this isn't working for you, then I'd recommend that you have service check it out because it sounds like it's not working for you.     I found my trouble by reviewing a link that you sent to another person on this site. I was on The "Normal/Colors" cylce and the Deep Fill does not work on this cycle on machines manufactured after 2016......................"Deep Fill is available on all wash cycles except the Normal/Colors cycle due to 2016 Department of Energy regulations. Energy Star models manufactured before July 2016 offered Deep Fill on all wash cycles, including the Normal/Colors cycle."

    I love this washer.I can wash everything. In there big blankets and comforter too I had in pandemic time but now it doesn't fill-up on some different options.i don't know what to do I have to stand there for each load to see if it's filled or no I tried resetting the machine too to unplug it for 2 mins

    I’ve been having trouble starting the deep fill option. I did it once to where the water was coming out as I was putting clothes inside and now I can’t seem to do that anymore.

    Water conservation should not interfere with quality of product that should do as it says and clean your clothes. It is not the water, but the product!

    I have the GE Model # GTW460ASJWW. It will NOT fill even on Deep Fill. I have checked the water flow to ensure water is able to come in. It will not add water when I hit the Deep Fill button. It will not add water when I hold the Deep Fill button. I have never been able to fill my washer. I have actually gotten buckets, fill them in the bathtub, and poured into washer to get more water. This is ridiculous!!!

    Bought a brand new one and it doesnt even take in water. just jerks the hose and stops. doesnt even drain when doing the drain and spin setting. tried to do the reset but no luck. just doesnt work at all. Glad ill be returning this and getting a better washer.

    What model are people buying? I have the GTW330ASKWW. It's new, and it fills up completely. Time will tell if the filling fails. But I removed the lid lock switch, but the switch in the socket so that I could watch the whole washing process, and it filled the tub full of water.

    I wished I had done my homework before buying this washer. I pushed the deep fill button for three seconds and you do get more water but the water only came to a third of the tub and that’s with clothes that came to half the size of the tub. I wished I had bought the Amana washer instead. If only the deep fill washer filled with more water. I would be happy with it.

    I have followed exactly the instructions for the 26 gal of water fill and believe me it has not worked. I have called GE, and have had service manY of times! They say nothing is wrong with the machine, I fell I have a 🍋 I hate this machine!,!!Why doesn’t mine fill to 26 gal if I set it as you have demonstrated? Please help

    Has anyone found a fix or recall on this washing machine yet? ours is only 4 months old and used to fill all the way up like the video, now it only fills about 6 inches. doesn't matter which load size. Apparently this seems to be a very big issue with this model.

    Hello Chase, we would like to help. There are two ways Deep Fill can be used to increase your water level...To add just a little more water: Press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add 3 gallons of water to the wash load. Once the washer has stopped filling, you can press it again to add 3 more gallons. To get a full tub, press and hold Deep Fill button for 3 seconds to fill the washer to the maximum water level. It will fill to approximately 26 gallons. -SF

    @@geappliances Sorry guys, I have the 460 model, the deep fill is useless. The only way I can get it to work is if I unplug the washer, then plug it in and lift and close the lid 6 times within 12 seconds to reset it. Then it fills properly for the next wash cycle but back to max 10" of water in the tub for subsequent fills until I do the reset again. Replaced the circuit board once, ran through the diagnostics a few times with no faults found. Have been stuck doing 1/2 loads just to get the laundry done. Looks like a quality product but there is an inherent manufacturing flaw. I'm thinking of mounting a couple of switches on the front panel: 1. a power switch. and 2. a momentary contact switch that I can press 6 times in 12 seconds to reset this thing before each load. At least it will keep the lid switch from wearing out but I will still have to select 2nd rinse to ensure the clothes get rinsed properly. Slightly better than a wash board I suppose.

    We just done our 2nd load in this wash machine we started the load at 9:15 p.m. and it is now 12:18 a.m. and is still not done Is this normal for this washing machine it's set on normal load

    Hi James - the washer normally goes through a spin cycle two times (it may spin after the wash cycle and then again at the very end of the cycle). If this happens again, please let us know the model number of your washer. Thanks -CC

    wish i would have looked here first. im even washing half loads and they fail to go under the water. i thought less water usage was a good thing but the clothes never seem to go under with the agitator dont know what its doing but isnt moving things down

    I have had three gtw460 washers over the past 6 weeks. None allow me to change the water fill level after pushing the "deep fill" button. I have read numerous blogs, reviews and youtube videos. I have sufficient water pressure and no filters are plugged. Three sets of delivery agents have hooked the different washers up and all say that they are not working properly. What gives?

    I bought the GE Washer Model #: GTW460ASJ5WW in December, 2019, one year and one month ago at Lowe's. Warranty period? ONE YEAR. This has been the biggest appliance purchase mistake of my life. We have overcome most issues by unplugging, waiting one minute, re-plugging, raising and lowering the lid six times in under twelve seconds. What a farce! Now, we have to go through this process each time the washer enters the drain cycle. It doesn't drain on its own, but will drain completely after going through this procedure. What a colossal purchase mistake!

    Try this.... Press the deep fill button and hold it until you hear the sound. Then put your washer on soak for 15 or more minutes. While the clothes are soaking press the deep fill button again and hold until you hear the sound. Press again like that if you want even more water. See how that works for you all. It works for me, and I just figured this out recently.

    I have to agree with the rest of these people! My washer, same model, the water wouldn't drain and stayed full, it would drain when I took the drain hose and held it on the ground but it never drained all of the way. And the lid never unlocked. My clothes were still in there.

    Update: So I bought this washer again because the other brand new washer I bought became worser than this model because that washer was malfunctioning like crazy and then the machine never worked again so I took it back. I’ve realized I’ve had no choice left but to re-buy this model and it was one of the higher end models. This washer didn’t have any problems at all and it’s easier to get more water so I’m glad I finally have a good washer again.

    I just made the following comment on another video about this. So I'll say it here too. I have model # GTW685BSL1WS. The washer came with this house when we moved in last year, and we have no manual for it. I tried using the deep fill button and it does nothing. You hear a very faint sound, and the light on the button does not light up. It's as if the button is locked out. I've tried pushing it before starting the wash, and also while it's running, but it never does anything. Thanks.

    Hi - this is a nice washer! If you wish to use the deep fill option, press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add an incremental amount of water to the wash load. Then hold the Deep Fill button for at least 3 seconds to provide the deepest fill level possible.     Hi Alejandro. There are two ways Deep Fill can be used: Add a little more water: Press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add 3 gallons of water to the wash load. Full Tub Fill: Press and hold Deep Fill button for 3 seconds to fill the washer to the maximum water level. It will fill to approximately 26 gallons except on portable / stationary models with Deep Fill. On these models the maximum water level is approximately 20 gallons. Be sure to use the Full Tub Fill. - RF

    Try another cycle. I found this on another site. I can't believe nobody from GE could tell me/us this! "On Energy Star models with this option, Deep Fill is available on all wash cycles except the Normal/Colors cycle due to 2016 Department of Energy regulations."

    This piece of shit is just that!!! I can't fill it to the capacity that I wish to use, especially for my quilt, the washer is big enough to hold enough stuff, it stays up on top because of not enough water, I'm not one that overloads my washer, but I don't think that they should tell us how much water to use, I'm pushing 60yrs., I know what the hell I'm doing, I was thinking about putting it on the curb for garbage pickup but thanks to Alejandro Fernandez, I'll try the bucket. "Hey, ge are you smarter than a Fifth grader" I bet they can put something better together. 🤬

    I hate these new washers. I feel like I don't have control over the water level. Most of the time I have to reset the washer to use deep fill. I miss the old washers. You should be able to pick how much water to use. The stupid EPA and the tree huggers made it where you have to use less water. So stupid! I decide how much water to use not the government!

    We have this washer and I absolutely hate it. I'm busy and sometimes I have to walk away and I forget to put the lid down after it starts filling with water. Since I don't get to it within a certain amount of time to start it, instead of a reminder beep or something, the stupid thing just drains the water out and there's no way to stop it. It wastes more water than it saves. I used less water and energy with my old washer.

    No. It's like saying that every washer I've had except for this one paused the cycle when the lid was raised, which is also a safety feature.     U are absolutely correct about using more energy and water, the spin don't take out too much water either. I hate mine too, but its these newer 2023 models that just don't do it like the old washer. Stuff between a hard place and a Rock

    All brands of washers will time out and drain if you leave the lid open. The workaround is to press the "PAUSE" button to pause or stop the timer before you walk away. Its to keep small children and pets from otherwise being killed if they climb into a cozy clothes hut with its silent death timer.

    Doesn’t work. I have this washer and I do more loads because it doesn’t fill enough. My sheets have dry spots so I have to wash my full size sheets one at a time.

    I bought the GTW460ASJWW six weeks ago. The Deep Fill worked one time. Now, when I press the button, it plays a tune but doesn't add more water. I've read and reread and followed the instructions on the link that GE offers. When I called customer service I was told that they have "a lot of problems with Deep Fill." Really? She also said that she could send out a repair person but didn't know "what good it would do." Looks like I'll have to add more water with a bucket to get the level I want.

    I am sending mine back and purchasing another type. I can not get the water to fill any higher than to the top of my wrist. Even with the deep fill button pushed, and on super load, it will not fill up anymore than to that level. I like the machine, but my clothes are not getting clean. I have only had it for 4 days. I had it replaced with another same model, and it still wont fill up with water past my wrist on any load setting. Even super!! I will not buy a GE again..

    Not all of these GE washers will act like the deep fill is off & the water level is set to "Small". The deep fill & water level setting on my friend's GE washer work great!

    My problem is whenever I try to wash towels and sheets no matter how I try to balance it when it is dry the load always goes to one side and unbalances the machine so much that it never fully dranins and bounces the machine around. What are the steps I should be doing instead?

    None of this advice applies. It seems the only thing that works with towels is only put in two at a time with some sheets to keep it from unbalancing. I still haven't quite figured out how to balance regular closthes when it is a small load.

    Hi! Thanks for asking. For 2001 and newer top load washers, the fine mesh filters were removed from under the agitator when it was found that a better pump and larger holes in the hub under the agitator did a better job of removing lint and preventing clogs in the drain system. The drain system allows water to flow through the basket and out the bottom of the tub pulling lint, hair and small particles with the water. There is no maintenance required on this system, so there is not a way to access the pump for cleaning or maintenance. You can learn more here if you'd like: spklr.io/6054cr18 All the best! -MS

    This washer has been a nightmare. I so wish I had googled it before buying it. It is the worst-most regrettable purchase I have made in years. It's causing me so much stress and frustration that my health has truly been impacted, I get high blood pressure while doing laundry, my chest starts tightening and I get anxious. The washer DOES NOT DEEP FILL- DOES NOT SPIN OR RINSE in most cylcles----- there is almost no water in most wash cycles and I have been able to video the washer washing clothes with no touchable water, it does spray some water into the basket but there is touchable/measurable water level. I have had to pour water into the tub/basket to try and fill it. Then on some other cycles, for example- colors- hot wash- super load- deep fill- and rinse -fab softener- it will fill it up with some water- but then then it does not rinse the clothes with water- and the spin cycle sounds like the washer motor is winding out and when the winding out rumble and tumble -bouncing- of the washer- BY THE WAY- THIS IS THE LOUDEST - WASHER I'VE EVER HEARD- it leaves the clothes wet. I can literally ring them out and you can see the unclear- soapy water. I have a video of this as well, but my videos are so large I cannot figure how to post them. This washer is just a big fat hot mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called GE and they sent a repair guy- I told him- there has to be clothes in it for him to see the issues, he said he was going to do his diagnostic tests and did not need clothes- So he did his tests, made it wash, made it rinse- made it spin, and then said- it checked out. I called GE back a few days later and told him the same issues are happening. The same guy came back and this time I had clothes in it- He was late arriving and so I had to leave but my husband was here. The repair guy did his thing and left. When I got home the clothes in the washer had supposedly been washed, rinsed and spun. The repair guy did not touch the clothes- they were soaking wet as usual after the spin cycle. I have to run the washer in the drain and spin cycle so that I can put them in the dryer. UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH Class action LAWSUIT!!!!!!!!!! from the looks of the complaints here- there is definitely a case. I called the tech and sent him the video of me taking the clothes out of the washer and ringing them out into a clear glass jar- he agreed they were not ready to go in the dryer like that and he was going to contact tech support and get back to me by the end of the day, I did not hear from him. I called GE today and the 1-800-386-1215- gave her my case # and the rep said - if they tech did not have to order parts or make a repair then there is nothing wrong with the washer!!!!!!!!!! OMG WTF!!!!! I'm waiting for the first rep, Debra- who was super helpful to call me back and hopefully arrange for GE to take this junker back and refund me my money.

    Don't feel bad, even after I googled it some said it was good and others bad, mine was good initially and now a nightmare, the repair guy has been here over an hours trying to program it after they bought in a new control board. I guess I will have to go to the laundromat to get clean clothers.

    I have this set only four years and the washer stoped working all it does is drain no lights you can’t get it to stop you have to unplug it. Can’t uses it. I think they’re was something wrong with it ever since I bought it.

    No. All it’s doing is draining no water coming in, the water valves are all open, It’s just draining. None of the button are responding no lights are coming on, It won’t stop draining unless you unplug it. The drum or agitator are not moving ether. It sound like it might be trying to engage when you plug it back in. But then it just tries to drain with no water in it.

    I've read thru all 255 comments (as of 1-28-2020) and almost ALL of them say the same thing. The DEEP FILL DOES NOT WORK and then @GE Appliances replies with a link on how it's supposed to work. Nope, NOBODY in this thread of 255 comments has been able to make it work. The machine simply does not allow it to fill with enough water...period. Please, if anyone has found a workaround, let me know...besides dumping a bucket of water in it myself. I'm even willing to disassemble the damn thing to adjust or disable whatever sensor it has that limits the amount of water. I'm tired of running small loads twice just to get stuff rinsed. Conservation my ass.

    I bought a GE HE washer with both deep fill and deep rinse 2 weeks ago, big mistake. No matter what I do it only fills with about 6 inches of water tops. We have tried just about every different setting with no luck. Would not recommend it to anyone!!

    Even when we hold the deep fill button for the 3 - 5 seconds it still doesn't fill any more than about 6 inches of water. I have literally washed only 4 loads since we purchased it and I don't think any of them got clean. So frustrated!!

    Connie, there are two ways the Deep Fill feature can be used: •Add a little more water: Press the Deep Fill button once before starting to add 3 gallons of water to the wash load. Once the washer has stopped filling, you can press it again to add 3 more gallons. •Full Tub Fill: Press and hold Deep Fill button for 3 seconds to fill the washer to the maximum water level. We suggest to view the water levels on page 11 of the Owner's Manual: products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90555.pdf Select the Deep Fill feature for loads where extra water is needed. Press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add an additional 3 gallons of water to the wash load. Holding the Deep Fill button for 3 seconds will provide the deepest fill level possible (26 gallons).

    NO WONDER WHY there was still soap on all my clothes!!, I never used the deep fill button and so the water never filled to the top and it could never rinse off my powdered detergent. On my old washer the water always filled to the top and on this one it never did. But I see now, going to try it out and do laundry

    That last comment simply isn’t true. Deep water is needed to clean, rinse and remove dirt and odor. Otherwise, you have to run numerous small loads . Or run multiple deep rinses , etc. That’s way more wasteful than a single large load with deep water

    yes. Using the "super" load size and holding the deep fill in for the full 3 seconds and we have tried using every mode; towels, bulky, heavy, etc - we are still only able to get 6" of water (literally, i measured) in the tub. After seeing this video and one on home depot's site that showed tubs half full or so, I contacted the GE service center and was told it was normal and that they were unsure why the tubs in the videos appear half full.

    +GE Appliances I have experienced the same exact issue with the water level and beginning to regret my purchase. Washing sheets are such a pain. Every single time the sheets end in a twisted up mess which throws the load off balance in the spin cycle. I have to pull the sheets out soaking wet untwist and unknot them and try again. I do pay attention to evenly distribute the sheets at the beginning and use the Towels/Sheets setting but to no avail. GE I'd love to know how to resolve this issue.

    Do not buy this washer, I bought this washer for me and my parents to use because our older washer broke down. This washer would not use enough water and the hot water doesn’t work at all. The spin cycle is a mess because we keep hearing banging noises from the machine. The Agitator won’t wash my clothes properly at all, my clothes would come out still dirty and smelly. So I took this washer back and made sure I’ve gotten my money back.

    I’ve had this thing a week and I HATE it. The deep fill button is useless. I bought this washer BECAUSE I was let to believe I could actually put enough water in it to truly clean our laundry. Total lies. The only way to get as much water as is in that video is to dump it in with a bucket. My 11 year old washer was giving me issues, so I saved for months for this washer. I honestly wish I had my old one back.

    Unfortunately, I have many GE products. I have had to replace the handle on my GE Spacemaker microwave twice. The face plate on my GE Adora Stove now needs replaced because the face plate is cracked from simple everyday wear (pressing the buttons). My GE Washer with so called "Deep Fill" has never worked right. Deep Fill does not work and my washer fills to MAYBE half on any cycle, on any setting, no matter what I do. GE products are CRAP!

    Sure, the model is GTW685BSLWS. This doesn’t happen all the time, but the out of balance sensor is way too sensitive. It should only try to correct the situation if the tub is banging against the washer, but there are times when the display says “balancing” even if the load is clearly not off balance. It mainly happens with bulky items. The washer works fine otherwise, so perhaps in the future, make the out of balance sensor more accurate.

    I cannot believe GE has fam led with it’s reputation by allowing this washer to stay on the market. The agitator has broken off, cost $100 to get it fixed, after two washing the agitator is barely holding on it is wobbling and at 71, who wants to deal with the continued problem. The water just dampened the clothes, not matter what setting, it has yet to completely fill. I have to constantly go in and spread out the clothes throughout the wash. When I can afford it, I want to get rid of this dump!

    There all water savers now, I think it’s required by the government. At least ge is trying by giving us options to add water such as deep fill and deep rinse. I couldn’t find that feature on any other brand.

    Hillarious how many people DON'T know how to use a washer. This washer uses less water and electicity, to save YOU money, and they think it's broken because it doesn't fill to the top for thier small load? Your loss my gain, i bought a return at practically half price and this washer is awesome.

    Whoever this is, is full of it. I have had issues with the deep fill from the start. Small load my ass. My super loads fill to a small capacity a POS that I DESPERATELY WISH my husband would have never brought. I literally have to unplug & re-plug the washer every load just to get it to fill to the correct capacity's almost like it's resetting its self or something.

    😂 Bought in September...messed up in October of 2022 here it is June of 2023 and STILL not one repair person has been able to fix it...they were able to charge me an additional $500 for an extended warranty 😂 but not able to give me a working washer and dryer, GE Customer service has been terrible so many lies.

    I agree! My complex use these and it only fill’s with water if you turn it to the bulky setting. I have NEVER had a washer that did not fill with water.

    I have to agree. I can never get enough water to fill the washer. I push the deep fill and nothing happens. I wish I could return it. We spent a lot of money for everything else to work but the deep fill. 🙁

    We have well water with low pressure will this fill up as in the video?.... We absolutely HATE our current "he" washer. I will never buy another.

    We have had the GE with Deep Fill for 2 months, it is the WORST washer we have had, the deep fill only lights up in “ Bulky Item” hold for 3 seconds does nothing, I hear a slight beep, that’s it. Absolute junk & a waste of $$$. I recommend not wasting your time or $$$ on the GE washers.

    This washer is giving me headaches the repair man came he said I need to use deep fill but now it doesn’t even fill nothing I’m washing right now I only have a little bit of water I keep changing the setting right now is literally in washing mode and no water ugh 😡🤬

    Total piece of garbage machine!! Clothes not clean, not enough water, lid always locked, agitated clothes so become uneven and spin cycle goes crazy. Very poor design

    Look at GE in the stock market. They won't even be around much longer I'd guess. Company has been letting their customers down for years now. Pitiful they can't even produce a simple damn washing machine that cleans clothes anymore!!!!!

    I bought the GE deep fill and it was the biggest mistake of my life. It won't agitate to wash nor does it spin. I will be getting my money back! My review of this POS is people don't waste your money. You will get better results from a washboard!!!!

    Absolutely worst washing machine that I've ever owned. Clothes come out of the washer stained from detergent and need re-washing. Deep fill, really??? How I miss my Samsung washing machine!!!

    I hate this washer. First it ties all the laundry in knots. It moves all over the laundry room. Often it doesn't drain and spin the clothes dry, which is probably why it has a drain and spin cycle...that should have told me it was a BAD washer. But the drain and spin doesn't work either. Now it won't fill with water. It's not the filters they are clean. It is just a horrible machine, I will Never buy a GE again. What is the matter with these design and test people? Washers actually worked for 20 years or more. I guess people are becoming less intelligent over time.

    These washing machines are very bad, I am very disappointed, it gives me a lot of frustration, It does not fill properly, it washes the clothes practically without water, it rinses equally bad, I do not really recommend this product !!

    Horrible washer. Water fills up and doesn’t even get the clothes wet. Then I spend 30 minutes at the washer trying to get the deep fill to work

    This is a complete lie, I am so sick of Govt. telling me how much water I can use. This washer at its fullest is barely 1/2 full and the rinse cycle is less than 6 " of water. You have to be kidding me. There has to be an override feature to change this . I want a washer not a spritzer. Diapers can not get clean I have to wash them 3 times. My time is worth more than this. We need to unite and fight the industry. It's the only way to combat our government. This was Mandated by OBAMAs people. Save water my ass, we waste it with this machine, doing triple the loads in tiny batches.

    STAY AWAY from GE washers! I just got rid of my GE HE top loader, because I was FED UP with the crappy free floating suspension for the tub! The washer was constantly going out of balance and even when it was perfectly balanced, it would trip the off balance sensor! The machine was EXTREMELY noisy when spinning! It sounded like a Hercules Transport was taking off! GE is JUNK!

    is it the electronics design or is it the parts? I have one of these useless washers upstairs. Sensors should be able to sense...they don't. Water is needed but not let in, so I get dirty, smelly clothes instead of clean. Who would intentionally design such a noisy, slow, machine that won't put but a couple of inches of water in to wash the clothes? I would never have signed off on this washer.

    i bought one too, it doesn't clean our clothes. all we get is smelly half-soaked clothes. the deep fill doesn't fill enough to cover the clothes. the agitation is practically non-existent. one of the biggest mistakes i have ever made. my family has to walk around wearing half washed clothes. GE is garbage. i am pushing to have it replaced or refunded. if that doesn't work, the media will get involved and then maybe a class action suit. seems a lot of people are having this same issue with this style of GE top loading machine. big disappointment GE, big diappointment

    Worst piece of crap I have ever bought. Problems for 2years , replaced entire Electrical board and lid lock switch , worked for couple months then adjusted the setting and now nothing ,would love to take a pick axe and sledge hammer to this GE piece of crap. Never will buy GE again.

    GE Appliances , No I did the work myself , to top it off the troubleshooting paperwork is underneath the washer inside, great place to put it ! Went through the field service mode and it kinda shows as if the lid lock switch is not working correctly, just go back to all manual controls , this electronic crap is worthless, it will be a speed queen for me next machine.

    LIARS! I can’t get deep fill to fill more than 1/2 way! I just had to take wet towels out of the machine so I could get the mattress cover to have enough water to cleanI HATE THIS MACHINE SO MUCH!!!! What good is it to have a large capacity washer when you can’t fill it up! PIECE OF S**t!!!! I’m pissed off every time I do laundry in the piece of junk!!!!!
