Thanks for this! I have a GNE25 fridge and cannot get the arrows to line up when installing the XWFE filter (it's about 1/3 inch off). Water flowed from the dispenser for a while and then stopped. Do you -- or someone else -- have any insight into what might be happening?
In 2022, there was a minor change in the design of the XWFE. The design at the top of this filter now has slots where the previous XWFE did not. It does not change how it fits into the filter head (port), though it may take a little more force to put it in and the arrows may not line up completely.
This is only for older GE models. This is not for Samsung, WHR, LG or newer GE models.
Way to not show which direction the locking nuts go. The instructions just say lock the nuts but don't say whether they lock against the house or against the unit. The shot in the video just shows the guy's hand without specifying which direction! This must be why our unit has started to sag out the window. Thanks for nothing, GE!

@@geappliances The issue is with the model that this video is for, and the problem is exactly as described in my comment. Neither the instructions nor the video specifies whether the locking nuts on the exterior supports screw in the direction of the building or toward the unit. Not a complicated issue but the failure to include this detail is a failure to ensure the unit is secured properly. It should be a simple answer, but the video even obstructs which direction the locking nuts go!

Hi Ge, I’m doing a drum clean in my washer I do it monthly. So my clothes can actually be clean. Warning ⚠️ guys use only he detergent so not a lot of suds also do a monthly drum clean for clean clothes. Also if your washer smells clean does not mean it’s clean!

Does anyone know if any of the metal racks, if accidentally left in by a guest, can cause damage to the appliance if the microwave function is used? I am familiar with old-school microwaves where metal cannot be used and am following the same practice. However, what happens if a guest uses it without knowing? Is there a fail-safe, or are the racks designed to be safe even if the microwave button is used intentionally or accidentally?
We understand your concern regarding the racks. You can view the cookware recommendations for model JES1109RRSS on page 16 of the manual, available here: spklr.io/6056Syhr . What can be used for the microwave function is shown in the table on that page. Sparking and damage within the oven may occur if metal is used during the wrong function; there is not an automatic fail-safe. We can also advise the wire rack is designed for use with Combination Cooking. We hope this information is helpful for you!

I'm very meticulous when it comes to maintaining my machine. What I found works really well is I use an air compressor to blow off any lint. Cleans it way better than what's shown in the video. I've done them both

Can I use regular OxiClean (dissolved in hot water first) during this self clean cycle instead of liquid bleach?

We heard back from our research team, and they let us know OxiClean can be used in the Self Clean cycle. It can be used as a powder placed in the empty basket before the cycle or can be added as you described (dissolved in hot water).
I believe I installed this exactly as the video says. When I get water from the door, my ice maker in the freezer pulls water to the point of overflowing. Were my tubes wrong on my fridge? Or this a bad new solenoid casing?

I've been using my new machine approx. 1-1/2 months. It makes terrible grinding/whiring sounds. I have purchased several other new washers over the last 30 years and none have sounded like this. I recorded the sounds this washer was making and went to a local appliance repair. They listened and said something was wrong. I just scanned a code included on the owner's reference guide to watch a video on "normal washer sounds." Yup, as best as I can tell my machine sounds like the video. What junk!!! Will sell and replace asap with a Maytag.

I saw this in Lowe’s(Fayetteville,Ga)….OH MY WORD!!!! As someone stated this is revolutionary. My sister and I just happened to open the door to the GE range. I have this GE Air Fryer oven and it's the worst purchase ever. No manual; and what you can print out gives you "estimates" to cook. You commented below to someone about pork tenderloin suggesting 375 to 400 for 30 to 55 minutes. Which is it? Are we supposed to stand there and test every five minutes? How much food do we waste because you put a product out without decent instructions? Is it too much to ask for SOMEONE at GE to come up with a recipe book?
