I am so glad to have found your videos! I live in AZ and have been dying to turn my 2002 bugeye into a stage rally car but did not know where to even start! Thank you for showing the detail that you do.. I personally find it very valuable.

If you were at this stage 6 months ago, you'd only be a year and a half behind. That's pretty good for a car build. On the poly carb windows thing. We did that to our side windows. FIA regs require the poly carb to be the same thickness as the original glass so we went for 4 mm scratch resistant. The local plastic guy did the job, we dropped the door and side rear glass in, and he cut it to the original size using the glass as a template. Nice job AU$ 380. + $75 for a tube of Sikaflex Marine to stick the back ones in. Demon Tweaks does the slider panels as a kit and they're AU$43 each side. My son's sponsored by then as a junior. so postage is free. All up with glass and removing electric motors, tracks etc, we saved 8KG's I thought it would be more. Sitting behind poly carb gets really hot.

Great work! FYI, the actual weight of the ATX20-HD battery is only 5.18 lbs. ;)

I've been wondering for a while now, why did you go with the GC8 ? Also I don't remember which engine you're using. Is it a 2 liter ?
