The Palestinians also caused a civil war in Jordan in an attempt to overthrow their king in the 1970s. Afterwards, the Palestinians were expelled from Egypt and Jordan to Lebanon where they formed a large part of Hezbollah. Egypt and Jordan learned from their past mistakes.
