This is probably one of the funniest podcasts in awhile, great cast for this one.

If half the regulars are replaced the podcast quality massively increases. I love Burnie but he's said everything and he's just repeating stuff/topics so I'm glad he's gone.

I hate it when they all react to an image and don't show it.

First Chris now Gavin?! Why’s everyone at RT have a problem with soup ?!
@dndnerd1

because soup is bad food. take the base components, remove most of the water, and you have the parts needed for a better meal. (cream based soups are an exception)

For me its the same logic why something like ketchup water is gross. Or how canned meat is gross. Solid food mixed into water is just digusting no matter what to me.

Im trying to find that woman jumping video they are talking about. It sounds hilarious🤣🤣🤣
The last ten minutes of the podcast went off the rails and it was awesome.
The last 5 minutes of the podcast was the hardest I’ve laughed in a long time
Oh gawd I loved everything about this episode. The Bees, the Soups, the Mexicans. I learned so much.
This is the quality bee-related content I came here for!
1:26:32 Thats a Best of Roosterteeth moment right there haha
The bee conversation was so cool!
1:28:09 Eric just screaming "WHAT IS THIS?" before it becomes unintelligible is absolutely hilarious

What Jessica described at the 35-40ish mark is LITERALLY in Fahrenheit 451!
About a month ago I switched to Fig Newtons as a healthier alternative to Oreo's and Chips Deluxe. Thanks for teaching me more about figs! I'll think of the RT Podcast every time I eat them ... and dead wasps ...
I saw the title and could only think of Crow's screenplay "Earth vs Soup" from Mystery Science Theater...
A lot of plants react to touch, we also know plenty of trees and plants communicate with one another / know where each other is... the fact that they can feel / make noise isnt too surprising.
Gus: *Explaining his favorite soup* No One: Absolutely No One: ... Jessica: "Mariel has talked about this soup... She's also Mexican..." 😂😂😂😂
I really liked that they started talking about bees haha. The only things I know about bees was from school and Joe Rogan's podcast with James Hetfield where James talks about his hobby of beekeeping.

RTAA that ending!
What Gus is describing in the leafblower discussion is a 2 stroke motor...because of its design, it inherently loses part of its air/fuel mixture on every stroke, and it loses even more when decelerating...4 stroke motors, like the ones used in cars and trucks, have valves to help minimize that air/fuel mixture loss...
I googled it. There are no dead wasps in figs. The fig digests the wasps completely so the crunchy bits are only seeds.
I skipped the intro of this vid and it took me 10 minutes to realize that wasn't burnie on the opposite of Gus this whole time :o
Google that soup picture. You will not be disappointed.
26:14 Missed opportunity to make a ‘birds and the bees’ joke. Barbara would’ve nailed that shit
If you want to see that video they were talking about in the beginning just search "the best good morning possible" on Reddit and you'll find what you're looking for.
Your being a part of the movie idea sounds like how they did it in ready player one. At least the book anyway. I dont think they recited movie lines in the ready player one movie.

That soup, my god!!!
There is a restaurant in USA that cooks the meats of the burgers in a grease that is over 100 year old. I don't remember it right now but as far as I know it is still open.
They empty the pot and clean it every night, but save a little and keep it simmering to be used as the base of the broth for the next day
Did not expect to be interested in hearing about bees
It's nice to see Burnie on the podcast again! :)
The best way to clean leaves is to just get them togheter and water them. They will just decompose and not fly anywhere. Also the best solution if you are kinda lazy
