I am so sorry to hear that the pub closed. My best wishes to Mr. Hegelund and I hope we get to hear about his next endeavor. I've only had the privilege of visiting Greenland once so far. It was only a day trip to Kulusuk, but it was an eye-opening day for me. What an incredible culture and a resilient spirit! I hope to get to visit Nuuk someday when the pandemic passes.

I hope I could visit Greenland, if just once in a lifetime.

Is there in Greenland any meat/sausage industry? Do the people there have animals like pigs or hens?

We have Neqi. Means meat. They works mostly with sheep. Farmers must be the only once that have hens for them selves. Kindly, Aningaaq - Visit Greenland

Hello I am English and my dream is to visit Nuuk one day since I was a kid, does Nuuk have pubs and does Greenland make it's own beer or have it's own traditional alcohol? I visited Kazakstan - their tradition is alcoholic horse milk - I tried it, not very nice to be fair! Am wondering what Greenland makes alcohol from traditionally because not much grows there.

Dear Avius, I hope your wish to visit Nuuk will happen in the future ahead. Nuuk has pubs. And one local pub brews own beers besides the casual Danish beers. And in other cities is there Qajaq Brew down south in Narsaq and Brewery Immiaq up north in Ilulissat. Friendly, Aningaaq - Visit Greenland
