$100 Food Challenge in Nuuk! How expensive is Greenland? Grocery, Café, Fast Food, Market

This is the ultimate $100 Food Challenge in Nuuk! Greenland is relatively expensive and difficult to get to, but does cheap eats exist here?
Greenland is the most expensive Nordic country followed by Norway and Denmark. This video will take you around Nuuk, Greenland’s capital and largest city. It's home to less than 20.000 people. And the Greenlandic Inuits are some of the friendliest people we’ve met.
We showcase just how expensive it is, and what food can you buy for $100 in the most expensive country in the Nordics. From Greenlandic tapas to the only fast food chain in Greenland, the grocery store, the fresh fish market, and cheap cafes! Nuuk has so much to offer!
Greenlandic food is not only fine dining. Greenland's most traditional dishes tell a story about survival, harsh climates, and rough land.
Please stick around and watch the video as we also visit the Kalaaliaraq market, where hunters and fishermen sell their meat to the locals. It is an exceptional experience, where fresh "Mattak" can be found. Mattak is raw whale skin which is a delicacy in the Greenlandic culture.
I would also appreciate it if you could hit the like and subscribe button as you read this (It helps out the channel). Let’s get this $100-dollar food challenge started without further ado!

Update: at the 15:38 sec. .. a scene of us by the pastries and grocery store had to be cut off due to a copyright music strike that was added. However.. it doesn't disrupt what we bought and the prices we've shown. Just an FYI if you're wondering why the video has a sudden stop.

And the best part is watching the hosts Sean and Nhi. You guys have the best personalities. I laughed when you said Boba and Bowl, Bowl and Boba, and the man with the finger "read this" is hilarious. WOW!!! What an amazing adventure you shared with us.....I absolutely loved the architecture colors and calm feeling of Nuuk. You and Nhi did an awesome video...Does Nhi speak Greenlandic? The children are absolutely beautiful! Maybe the people are so friendly in general cuz life is less stressful in Greenland!!! Are there other cities you visited that you can recommend? Now I want to vacation there! Thank soooo much for the magnificent journey! You and Nhi were very gracious "guests" of the town! God Bless!

I'm a Dane and I never went to Greenland! Nuuk is more "Danish" than I anticipated. I noticed every sign is written in Danish. I imagine it was easier for you to speak with the locals having the girl speak fluent Danish. It’s wonderful to see this positive and happy side of Greenland and a very raw and real video of Greenlandic hospitality. Hope to see more videos of you two in Greenland. Subscribed!

The best part of traveling is eating. I love trying new foods and unless I have a political, or health reason I’ll eat almost anything. When I lived in Hawaii my neighbor would bring stuff for me to try. One day she brought something green when I asked what it was she said it was the vine growing outside her house. It didn’t kill me.

You missed the national museum! The richness and skill of all the items produced from mere bones and driftwood made me realize that our "primitive" ancestors was actually more skilled than the average person today, who is specialized in only few functions. When you see the tool the Inuk not only fought icebears with - but hunted them too - you can only gain a deep respect for this little hardy people whose ancestors has withstood so much. And the art and beauty crafted into every item on display. Do not cheat yourself from this experience. It is likely obe of the worlds smallest national museums, but it will not leave the smallest impression
