1. Spread the beans on the countertop to check for stones and spoiled grains 2. Wash and rinse the beans twice with fresh clean water. 3. Soak the beans for at least 12 hours, changing the water every 4 hours. If you can. 4. Boil the beans on the stove 3 times for about 5 minutes each, rinsing beans and pot each time. This removes the foam (oligosaccharides) 5. Cook the beans with fresh water and add: cardamom, fennel seeds, rosmery, carom seeds (Ajwain seeds), bay leaves and ginger. Place all these seeds in a tea bag for easy removal after cooking. 6. Add all the spices you like such as garlic, chile, cummin, etc. 7. Cook the beans until tender.

Hello Sanna, I’m glad you managed to get it. Did you get the powder or the rock? I know that pungent smell is not so pleasant. Did it work though? What I do is keep the overhead fun running and door and windows open. Also be very cautious with the amount you use, reduce the mount if after cooking your beans still have the strong flavour. Beans are very healthy and cheap, once you perfect the amount you use, you will enjoy your beans forever.

What do I do if I want beans with juice. Is the powder not digestible in liquid or flavorful?
@SophiaKamauTVShow

Hello Renee thank you for taking time to see my video. The powder does not have a pleasant taste. However if you want the liquid you can try with extremely little amount of the powder so that you won’t taste it in the liquid. Another option is for you to boil your beans with whole carrots and then discard them but keep the cooking liquid. Carrots also helps take out the gas.

Thank you for watching my video and and for your time. Draining the water is the only way and takes away the undesirable nutrients like the indigestible sugars and the phytic acid. Without this it will be so hard for your body to digest the beans and hence the flatulence. If you are worried of some nutrients, you can add some during frying. Check my video on how to fry your beans. Hope this is helpful
