@@shellygurl3711 21:14 they talk about price...most things are 100 yen each (give or take, about a dollar). If no price is listed then it is 100 yen...there are some things like bigger bowls of food that cost more and they will indicate the price when you order it. They keep track of how many you ordered plus how many you pulled off the regular conveyor belt with a combo of knowing what you ordered plus counting the types of plates. Typically each style of plate or bowl has a value. Their system keeps track but you could add up the total from the types of bowls and plates left over. Plus the ones you put down the game slot. If only they weren't so stingy with the capsule toys...no fun coming back to try again when you have to get so stuffed. They are the cheapest of capsule toys I just wish they would pay out more so it would be more appealing to return. They already save so much money by having no servers...time to fix the payout rate on the toys!

I am always so envious of your Japan videos but I love that you mix it up with different parts of your trip and not just arcades. The whole idea of winning a gachapon is a great way to encourage travellers to try different dishes and you guys were so adventurous with your orders! Although it's obvious that Japan has a special place in your hearts, are there other countries that you'd like to explore in a bid to become Crane Couple Globetrotters?

At 100 yen a plate you do just want to throw $10 or so more into it. Skip the food and just order empty plates for the shoot!

This is one of my absolute most favorite restaurants, I go here maybe twice a month, it's so cheap and good! I am obsessed with the salmon cheese and seared katsuo (bonito) with yuzu....and I get a gachapon almost every time! Maybe I'm just lucky~

Went to Kura sushi in Okinawa a couple times on my vacation last month and it took 30 plates both times to win. Luckily there were 4 of us eating!

Great video, that’s the kura sushi I went to last November. I had 15 plates to myself, it was so good! I did win a gachapon with 20 plates. Can’t wait to go back!

My kids and I.

I love sashimi and my kids too. I wanted to try this converbelt sushi when I saw kawaii arcade master video and your video and I finally got to try it in San Jose with my cousin and his family. We ate 53 plates and we got 3 catchapon for every 15 plates. It was fun and delicious. You guys did great .

Thanks Lady! Yeah, it was rough getting through all those plates, but we still had a great time regardless :) And yeah we didn't want to spit rice all over the place! Wouldn't have been very pleasant XD

Did you catch if the price was different on the petite plates? I dont think it was but I was curious...still worth saving stomach room with half the rice I just would not think the Japanese would accept less for the same price. Then again maybe they changed the payout rate to 30 when they added a petite rice option!

These all look so delicious. And as a mom, I really don't judge. Even if you were my child, I would implore you to at least try it, and if you still didn't like it, I'd drop it. At random intervals throughout your life, I would ask you to give it another try, I'm talking years later. Only because our tastebuds change many times throughout our lives. However, because you're no my child, I have only one opinion "aww that's too bad, I think it's delicious so in my tastebuds' opinion, Brittani is missing out." It's silly to care much otherwise. My favourite seafood is Lobster, Calamari as a very close second. For fish, I really like Salmon, but Red Snapper and Swordfish are even better

Fried flounder/shrimp are the only fish I eat

I think I have been to KU-LA Sushi before but before they implement the Gacha system in Little Tokyo...? But wow. That's a lot of man power to devour 20 plates. Also the legit Japanese sushi is the best experience, even if its raw fish. ;w; (But I still love you Brittnii~)
