Brittani & Julius it looked so yummy and I might be wrong but I believe dashi is a stock with some type of seaweed( I don’t remember the name of it) and bonto flakes.

This is such a wonderful video explaining how Kura Sushi in the USA works 🇺🇸 I'm Japanese, live in Michigan. Kura Sushi just opened the other day in my location. I was impressed that it was pretty identical table setting to Japanese one exception of no built-in self serve green tea station on you table.

Wow! I actually had no idea they had Kura locally! I definitely need to take my family there. Loving the new channel! Keep it up!

What a fun place! How nice to have such an authentic experience available in California. I want to go here myself now! My favorite things to order at Japanese places are either sake sashimi or a fancy roll I like from a local place that has: shrimp tempura, avocado, and crab with salmon and lemon slice on top and tasty sauce~ It's called the Eternal Sunrise at Sushi Garden! Highly recommend~ My boyfriend usually gets chicken terriyaki but he also loves eel and octopus. I love that you guys point out things like the fact they tell you all the ingredients in each dish as that might be very important to people with allergies when determining places to go! Also great descriptions of the food~ You know you're explaining it well when you make your audience hungry!! Thank you for showing us this restaurant! I'll definitely visit it next time I'm down south~ I also totally feel Brittani pushing the onions off her beef lmao I like onions but sometimes I don't want that extra texture. (Also that DEFINITELY happens every time I go to SF, especially when I go down Lombard Street lmao)

I wish Kura here was as good as the ones in Japan. I’ll still take all their scallops, though. 😁

I’ve been to the one in the Dallas, Texas metroplex. It is a very busy place. I went with my family. We easily ate 30 plates of food. So we got two prizes. One was a pen and the other was washi tape. The sushi was serviceable. We haven’t gone back since and that was several years ago. I am very proud of B for eating something other than beef.

Eh, I'd do the same. I hate green onions and it would destroy the enjoyment of the flavor of the beef. I generally find garnishes to be annoying and unnecessary.

There used to be a place in town that did a deep fried California roll. Then they switched to a full Korean menu - which is good also- but I dream about that roll. There is a conveyor belt sushi place in Doraville, GA that I'm putting on our to do list for our next trip through that way.

@@lillyfonseca2431 as far as I know there is only two locations as of right now. One in Austin and the other is Houston (off westheimer) if u go to the Houston one.. they have a very awesome Daiso near it. Very cute Japan items there .

That beef is absolutely delicious! In general I prefer nigiri, but everything we tried at Kura Sushi was yummy! Just wish I could find somewhere local that served onigiris.
