    CB is 7th best player at best. He is just situational defender that you could use at times. His defense wont be as near as good once he starts playing big minutes. His offense is subpar, so Denver wont have neither from him.

    100% agree . I am a Serbian Arsenal fan & I’ve been following them for over 20 years now . They went downhill once the Kroenke’s took over . They are super cheap & never seem to back the manager fully in the market . Even this season haven’t made one signing yet so far because they don’t want to face FFP rules . Other clubs like Man City & Chelsea don’t seem to care about those rules & spend money .

    You guys are really contradictory in your statements. Just a month ago, according to all you guys, Monte Moris was an excellent reinforcement for Denver, and that due to the previous good relations with him, he should be signed. Now everything is the opposite about Monte when he signed for Phoenix. Also yesterday i watched a video with Zach Lowe and Bobby Marks, where they both said ""teams like Denver...(I don't care about the others), they use second apron as an excuse to not have to pay players-they lost BB, JG and KCP in two years FOR NOTHING"". Both of them wonder if Jokic knows about what is happening in Denver because he is in Serbia drinking beer and riding horses. What will Jokic reaction be to all the events with Denver - I honestly wonder too. It's OK with the fact that Joker is a believer that he said this and that in a positive context for Denver, but this season we saw Jokic at the game with Minnesota raging on the bench because of the way Denver plays. Let's not be surprised if we see Jokic on the field (who cares, when the owner and GM don't care, why would i ?) just play totally average basketball.

    In my opinion, the biggest problem is that there seems to be a disconnect between Michael Malone and Kelvin Booth. The young players are never going to fulfill Booth's vision if Michael Malone doesn't play them during the regular season to get them going and Michael Malone, who wants the veterans, he's just wearing them out playing them too much during the regular season.

    @UraStr I'm not sure I agree about Malone His job (he and his assistants) is to take those players and train them to be the best they can and what he needs them to be. How will we find out if they can do it if he isn't playing them? It's the same catch as trying to get a job and be told you need more experience. How will you get the experience if no one hires you without experience. Malone might not like the decisions, but he needs to do his best with what he's got. Ignoring the young players and minimizing the roster to 8,9 , overplaying the starters is definitely not the answer

  • @CaneOdPchinje
    @CaneOdPchinje28 күн бұрын

    Thing is - we were saying this for a long while now. Years. Unfortunately - we were a minority. The "Enlightened" and "Positive" nuggets eco-system (comfortable with mediocrity forever) told us to shut up, "don't be negative", ridiculed and banned most/all. Maybe because Serbs (Jokic fans) are NOT comfortable with mediocrity and are USED TO WINNING. And they KNOW basketball. Competition even more. Alas, this is the outcome. THIS IS IT. TBF - Jokic was just a super-lucky shot - TC won the lottery (it happens). He had no clue what Jokic can and will be (hence the first years). Cheap, long-shot bet that turned out big unintentionally. But that's all Nuggets are used doing... long-shot, cheap bets (spinal problems, attitude problems, foot problems... things that ended up on a discount rack bc damaged or about to expire) - I won't name names - you can figure it out yourselves. And since then - Jokic was carrying this shithole, making average players look like "stars" (murray, mpj, ag, barton, monte, garris, Plumlee, etc etc etc) and same goes for the coach. TC set the targets on BB and KCP - and that was the ONLY good move in the past decade. One thing that especially irks me is the CBA excuse. It's like Silver thought of it one night and surprised everyone (competent GMs and generous Owners) with it. It didnt quite happen like that. The CBA was re-negotiated and drafted BECAUSE those same GM's and Owners DEMANDED IT. Mostly from the franchises like Nuggets (because "we're not GSW"). It was in the works for 2+ years. GMs and Owners fully involved and PUSHING FOR IT. New CBA, they thought, will help them bridge the gap between "big" and "small" market franchises. And help them make MORE MONEY. Above is 100% true. Period. So, it wasn't a surprise (meaning you could've prepare yourself for it) AND - most of it is YOUR (nugets and nuggets-like franchises) DOING. Funny, huh!? Yeah. I'm not gonna even comment on Kroenke-Boot-Malone statements, actions and dynamics. Its unprofessional and completely embarrassing. Not gonna comment on Murray (lets be Honest - he's bottom 10 guard in the league without Jokic) or on the others. I'm just gonna say - Jokic did not deserve this insult and humiliation (to be put in a situation to beg for likes of Russ and Saric) - and this has been a pattern (remember the "starter in this league"?) since he got here. He SHOULD LEAVE AND LEAVE RIGHT NOW. He's a good man and doesn't deserve this.

    GTJ is great if you want a knock down perimeter shooter. If Jokić finds him in space he will get the job down. However, as a self-create shooter off the dribble he is limited in that regard. As a playmaker he is also limited. He is also an average defender. I've been a fan of the Nuggets for a few years and also started following the Raptors this past season. As a bench piece, GTJ is a good player, however as a starter replacing KCP you will have a bigger hole in your defense and a slightly worse perimeter shooter. Now GTJ isn't a terrible player and Bruce Brown has also not worked out for the Raptors so maybe they can both be packaged for a trade to the Nuggets for some draft picks? I would like the Nuggets to trade Zeke Nnaji (as they have already drafted an upgraded replacement in DeRon Holmes II), and bring in Vasa Micić for him from the Hornets as your backup PG. Vasa has tremendous court vision and incredible basketball IQ, great shooter, passer, 2 x EuroLeague Champion and 2 x EuroLeague MVP. He will be playing with Joki'ć for the Serbian national team so you will be able to get a glimpse of what he can do. Jokić has also expressed interest to bring Vasa to the Nuggets.

Regular season exhaustion is about being right mentally to do your job every day and take mental breaks (resets) when you need, playing 1 MPG less or more is completely irrelevant. Murray played like 2000 minutes total of the last 5 season and look at him.

    I think Malone was right, but going forward the Nuggets have no choice but to adhere to Calvin Booth's plan and play Jalen Pickett, Hunter Tyson, Julian Strawther, Peyton Watson as much as possible. Nuggets have no tradable draft picks, no tradable players. The time to adopt a Celtics approach and sign veterans like Derrick White, Porzingis, and Dru Holiday was 2 years ago BEFORE they used those 1st and 2nd round draft picks on Pickett, Strawther, etc. Now they can't even try that! They HAVE to play the young guys in order to establish value for them so they can trade them or use them going forward.

    Everyone calm tf down. They will use the mid level exception in due time. The trade deadline is more than 8 months away if they need to pivot. It would be foolish to jump like some of these other teams, especially when we are still a solid team and Top 3 odds on favorites. Just be patient and shut up. You are not a GM

    Look up the CBA, they couldn't resign KCP without killing the future. Your gm, ya know the one who traded for kcp and got you the only championship in franchise history, told you they would build with draft picks. They aren't cheap. I hate misinformed fools who don't know what they are talking about.

    @@UraStr I mean we did just watch the Dallas Mavericks. It make more sense to wait and let the 4 young guys actually get on the floor this season before making some huge trade.
