Gary Moore VH 1 Interview 1994

Музыка

This interview from VH1 is a special episode shot in 1994 about Gary Moore. I found it on youtube in parts and joined them together. Gary Moore is my all time favorite guitar hero and the inspiration for picking up the guitar.

Gary Moore was so humble, and honnest in his way of playing his Art. He was not obsessed with the gear he used like all those people who think a guitar or an amp will make you a great musician. He was born a musician, offered everything to be happy and fulfilled on stage, no matter what style of music he played because he knew how to play everything. His discography proves that he had no mental, musical or technical barriers... Listen to the albums "Back on the street", "Corridor of power", "Wild frontier", "Still got the Blues", "After hours", "Dark days in paradise" etc... Everything will be different each time except his signature... his style. The thing that made him unique. Such a perfect blend of immense virtuosity, great energy, such great gentleness and a gentle melancholy that made him the huge melodist he was. He was the greatest guitarist while being humanly so simple and so kind and never forget what fantastic singer he was too. A real Artist, an anti-star. We miss you so much Mr Moore...😢 RIP. Thanck you so much for sharing this great interview fully. 😎👍🎼🎵🎶🎤🎸...

Fantastic! a friend of mine had a similar encounter, Gary said lets go for a coffee and they sat and talked about guitar. I wish I had that chance, but I have endlessly played his music since I saw him play in 1970 with Skid Row.

A song like "Still Got The Blues" touches so many bases for those of us who loved this man and his music. I think every time someone special died in my life, I would play that song remembering the person and knowing that things are ultimately going to be all right. It's a love song about a woman but the intensity of his vocals and the extraordinary guitar playing go far beyond just another blues song. I will always listen to and enjoy Gary Moore's music and for me, it is therapy right when I need it. We all cry over things sometimes and we should. It says we are human. Thank you Gary Moore...R.I.
