Such an underrated and underappreciated actor. Tron legacy made him 1 of my favorite actors, and Death Sentence.

he might be a great actor now, yes, ...but reality he was too inexperienced, and it showed on Legacy. We all hope he is back now, more mature actor in part 3.

I would have agreed with you, but unfortunately it's too late now, he's the lead actor in the next one. I just hope they don't sideline all the characters from 'Legacy', just so Leto can hog the spotlight. Like I will be miffed if they don't continue Rinzler/Trons plot from the ladt movie. They can't just have him remember who he is and then leave it there, so he better be back in 'Ares'.

Man i watched Tron Legacy everyday when it first came out on Blu ray. Really resonated with the movie.

I hope Garrett comes back with Bruce and Olivia.

I knew a third Tron film was in the works, knew that when the new Tron roller coaster at Magic Kingdom debuted.

He answered that pretty well. Didn’t throw Disney under the bus but did show that the ball is in their court. Obviously Disney can’t make much on their own these days apart from cartoons and buying companies. Even if a 3rd were to come out…outsource it to absolutely anyone else lol

I truly hope that his career flourishes more in the future. I’ve seen him in a couple other smaller projects and he really is a solid actor. Plus, he’s done amazing with the Tron Legacy film. I really would love to see what happens with his character Sam in future projects. I feel like his character was being introduced and could go so much further. I truly hope he does make an appearance in the new film.

Disney will F this up just like Star Wars, Pixar, and all the rest of their franchises....

I can confidently tell you that He and Olivia Wilde will show up in Tron Ares it'll get a huge pop.

Would love to see the entire panel from the show. I had bought tickets for Friday and Saturday since the panel was originally on Friday. I missed it because it got moved to Sunday and felt like I missed out on a great experience.

I wish Olivia Wilde came back for Tron: Ares.

We need a continued story saga of Sam Flynn. I’m looking forward to Tron: Ares but I don’t think it’s connected to the Sam Flynn story (not entirely sure) but id like to see the continued story where Tron: Legacy ended

I love how Garett still remembers some key features, and names the Grid like its a place he fondly likes to visit. He is clearly ready to hop right back into his role as Sam. While Marvel did work out for Disney in the long run and Star Wars as well; it seems they took the bigger names for granted after Endgame. The good new is that a third installment is coming, but unfortunately, Daft Punk likely won't return to score the film because they departed from each other. As much as I do love Legacy, there are some tings in it that get a bit grading; the constant "staying behind so that the others may escape" trope should have only been for the end for Kevin Flynn to do, because it was like the third or forth time by the time he did it. Though all the actors did great, the script did not leave much room for them to build much on their personality. Even after two films, I do still have more questions about the grid. Do they have animals? Do they eat? Does day and night mean anything to them?" Tron himself barely has much of a foot print in the franchise. The only time he has the true spotlight was in the Uprising show. (which is fantastic and gives more life then the previous movies ever did) Despite all these nitpicks, Tron deserves the spot light for pushing visual technology for films in the future (now), and wowed us with the 2010 visuals and its score.

Just got word that Jeff Bridges will be returning in TRON: Ares as Kevin Flynn. How will this be done? A flashback or is Kevin’s essence still in his Grid and is a ghost?

Yeah not much he can say there. Tricky question. He knows what the story would have been, but is it still on the tables? Probably not. He was saying a little bit more about what it would be about, when they were still looking like it might be greenlit, but then it never was because Disney acquired Marvel, and then basically put the rest of it on Star Wars right after that and that put Tron on the lower end of the totem pole. Ridiculous, but I guess Tron was always a cult thing. I mean, at this point it's fair to say Sam is going to be minding after the company more and will, at most, probably have an avatar of himself fighting to defend the grid. Originally, Edward Dillinger Jr. (Cillian Murphy) was going to be that new nemesis. Now I think they will go another route, now that Cillian is huge and probably wont be available and the people writing it will likely be an entirely different team.

00:21 stopped right there. His expression was more than I needed to know this dude don't give to $H1Ts about those characters. He's in it to make his Own story. This doesn't bode well for fans.

It’s awful that Sam Flynn is not in the new movie

One of the biggest issues I had with Tron Legacy was that Sam Flynn had so little to do, that his character brought nothing to the table. He was basically the film's damsel in distress, constantly being rescued by his father and by Quorra.

If this Tron movie is like the most recent trend of Disney movies is gonna be basically be Barbie, new Starwars trilogy 🐃💩, subverting expectations, instead of something in the lines of Blade Runner 2049 and the new Dune movies.

Who is running Disney? Not making a Tron: Legacy sequel is just plain wrong. Especially with them making Tron: Aries without Joseph Kosinski after the success of Top Gun: Maverick.

JET Bradley and Sam Flynn Team up. but if TRON 2.0 is cannon it would mean Alan Bradley knew about the digital world. i really do hope the guadiens of this franchise don't let the woke Disney BS to ruin it. but i fear it might happen . Leto is NOT lead material he proved how bad he can be as a lead in Morbius. he's better off as the guy who gets his ass handed to him. like in fight club we know after 2011 everything changed for all movies because hollyweird went down the road of normalizing the degeneracy and obama's administration started taking over disney's franchises to well poison the next generation.

I wanted a sequel to Tron Legacy for years. Now that it’s been made I find myself hoping it wasn’t happening. Disney now is not the same company. Everything they touch now becomes pure garbage full of propaganda and politics. Of course they are doing a movie now. After butchering Marvel, Star Wars and all their old classics they didn’t have anything else.

If another Tron movie is happening, then keep Olivia Wilde out. She turned into the worst person nobody ever saw coming. I however have no problems with Garrett Hedlund, if he returns then that´s fine to me.
