I'm laughing with you, my Ace-250 is magnet for pull tabs, partial aluminum cans and pennies. Only things of value I've ever found were a .925 sterling silver picnic utensils at the beach and some pre-64 quarters (90%). Good video, happy hunting.

I've had my 250 for four yrs. (and I love it.) I dig A lot of trash and did have some good fortune. The pinpointing? I never payed that much notice to it before? Except to locate my target. There's always something to learn! Thank You.

At 6:31 it shows the target to be 6 inches deep , but when you press the pinpointer ,it shows the target to be 2 inches deep. Which one is correct ?

Get a set of headphones with adjustable settings. It'll make it much better to identify signals and you can turn it as loud or quiet as you like.

Definitely a pinpointer. I use the Garrett Propointer and love it. It'll change your detecting experience. Also a good set of headphones will also help you detect sounds a lot more precisely and will help avoid distractions that are around you. I usually wear a hat and my headphones and ignore the world around me until I'm finished. Good luck and happy hunting!

Are you using a scuff cover on your coil? I'm new to this hope it's not a dumb question. I have a Ace 250 on its' way should be here Friday, I was wondering if I should get a cover or not?
